If you're muslim you get better service. Poor quality, poor customer service, pricey and super disgusting. Attached you'll find a picture of my meal i purchased. You can see the plating as disgusting as it is. It was an African American Gentlemen that does not want to be working there. He is super unhappy and unhelpful.
My family and I had a terrible experience at this Skokie location in July 2022.I saw on Google they close at 11 pm. I called at 9:44 pm to confirm closing hours and the person confirmed 11 pm is closing and final seating is at 10:30 pm.We arrived at 10:19 pm and had finished paying at 10:24 pm. We got to a table at 10:26 pm and the employees told us we can’t sit and eat because final dine in is at 10:30.I would never want to keep anyone working longer than normal because I’ve worked in fast food before too and I get the frustration. But if closing is at 11 pm and final seating is at 10:30, normally as long as you’re sitting before 10:30 you should be able to sit. And if that isn’t the case, I would’ve appreciated some extra clarification from the employees before we ordered and paid that we wouldn’t be allowed to dine in, but they waited until after we paid to tell us.We tried reasoning with the manager back and forth for a few minutes. The second it turned 10:30 he said they’re now closed and we had to eat outside. Finally, one of the other employees dropped a metal chair and it made an extremely loud noise, not entirely sure why. Maybe out of frustration or to intimidate us?Either way, it was a really terrible experience for myself and my family overall.I would not recommend this location.
Crispy falafel tasty food. Red sauce is spicy just like it should be. White sauce is creamy and deliciously. Meat is nicely prepared. Reasonable prices.
After having my first halal guys platter experience in New York… I had high expectations… but sadly was not good at all… the food was like frozen rice was also not hot… did not likeThe 3 stars only for the white sauce and the name
We come here on Sundays and it gets busy, but they manage to make customers leaving the place, satisfied. This is our 3rd time visiting here. Not sure about what other people say, but we always get great service here. The manager, himself helps in the line, taking our order. Then bring our food to our table when ready. Our gyro plate (which is our favorite to order), or any food we'd like to have, are always filled with pretty good amount of meat and toppings of our choice. And oh, I love their white sauce! The place is clean, and restroom is clean.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. I don’t know what’s worst: stale pita, tasteless and burnt gyros, undercooked chicken, or mediocre service. It’s overpriced, low quality fast food and they have been consistently bad. There are much better places to eat in that area.
The place is a little better than mediocre. Its a quick and simple place to grab a bite but I have had better Mediterranean food.
Good customer service but the food is trash. I've eaten gyros from all over and this is just straight BS. Doesn't even taste like a gyro. Go to wicker park and eat that place across the street from Lowes.
Had a great experience here. I was there right when they opened just by chance and they were kind to stop their preparations for the day and serve me right away. I ordered the combo which has both chicken and gyros meat. The meal was fresh and tasty and they gave me plenty of white sauce when I asked for a little more. I would highly recommend this place.
I have had their food several times. Their gyro is very good. I would recommend that over their chicken. Their hot sauce is super spicy so be careful not to overdue it. They are never busy when i go so it definitely is a plus. I would recommend this place for anyone craving gyro and they put everything in front of you.
