Absolutely the best IHOP I have ever had the pleasure of eating. Me and my date had the chicken fingers and fries which were fried to perfection and the fries were perfectly seasoned. The food was nothing apart from other IHOP establishments but what stands out here is the laid back feel as well as the wonderful customer service. Particularly Yolanda. She was absolutely funny, helpful, generous, and very welcoming. I’ve found my new IHOP go to spot! Now the IHOP in Evanston… different story.
We were sitting for a half hour no one waited on us or checked on us so we left and went to eat elsewhere. There were only 3 other tables with people, I understand it's hard time but at least come and bring water and talk us that they were short handed. But nope ignored so we walked out.
Very rude waitress. She also didn’t give us all our food and we had to wait 20 minutes to bring it to her attention because she was nowhere to be found. She didn’t come check on our table once. No apology from her or the manager. If you hate your job that much then quit. Don’t make paying customers suffer from your bad attitude.
There is a younger black lady with blue hair who is so sweet, and David the ripped guy who took care of us today. He had to put up with the worst ladies I seen in my life. You guys are so great I wish the best for you.
Service was sad, restroom had no, zero, zilch toilet paper and had been ignored by their staff. The new cheeseburger omelet was nah, won't order it again. I applaud their attempt to make an otherwise plain omelet into something interesting, but this is a fail IMHO.
I went there on a Saturday morning, excited to return to the delights of iHop. As we were being served, I had the RUDEST waitress of all time. She have a lot of attitude, didn’t give us time to think or eat, and it seemed like she just wanted us out of the joint. When we finally got past the ordering fiasco, she SLAMMED the plates onto the table causing one of them to chip. She did not ask us for refills, but asked other tables for refills. She kept asking if we were done in the middle of eating and even tried to take my plate. Overall, the food was subpar, the customer care was atrocious and my business and the rest of my extended family’s business will no longer be seen at this TERRIBLE location. Don’t go here!
Best iHop experience I’ve had! Only 10 minute wait on a Saturday morning at 11:30! Got in, served right away by Elvira. She was kind and attentive. She even helped combo our order so we saved money. We got our food in less than 5 minutes, and it was busy. The bussing staff was also swift and even swept under each table and booth between patrons which is not something you usually see at restaurants. Only improvement would be a few more parking spaces, but there’s a shopping center across the street that has plenty of spaces if need!
Very Clean and the meal was good! Waitress was very attentive to our needs! I have 2 kids so this much appreciated! Not my first time at this location either. They are consistent in their service!
I have to say honestly about this IHOP that it has been here in Skokie since I moved Skokie back in 1960. But I had never gone there. I am usually gone to the one I'm stuck key Boulevard and Main Street in Skokie which is now closed. However after waiting 60 years and coming here I must say the food is still quite good and the three stars was mainly more for the service which I can't really blame the restaurant but they are kind of low on employees. I would definitely try it on a weekday before you go on a weekend cuz the wait could be long unless they've built up their employment Force. But definitely worth it even to take the kids.
I've visited a lot of IHOP's. The food isn't always that great, but this IHOP food was so good. I guess everyone cook differently. The services was also nice and it was very clean in the inside. I wish more places had services like this one.
