Pretty much everything on the menu is made well and tastes exactly like you'd want it too.That being said, their fried cheddar balls are almost worth killing for! The best side dish from any fast food or burger place.Oh, and the staff is always SUPER friendly!
Herm's is such a fun, family friendly place! Great food, great value. Loved the buffalo cheddar burger. Kids picked out ice cream after dinner. Settled the bill at the end, didn't have to continually Fork over my credit card. Well played Herms, well played. ?
Been coming here since 1987 when they used to rent VHS tapes. Played videos games here in middle school and used to watch the old guys eat lunch and watch sports. This place is an institution. Never mind that the food is a consistent knockout with everything in the menu. One of my all time favorite places.

The food and service here is spectacular. Have never been let down. I love their fried salami sandwich with merkts cheddar fries.
This place has the most awesome cheese fries as well as great hot dogs; burgers; and sandwiches. There are also adult carbonated beverage for your pleasure. I take my child there when it is possible.

I have passed this place for years but decided to check it out before heading home. I ordered a Italian beef sausage combo and Greek salad. Delicious sausage, and enjoyable salad. The price was right! Will be stopping by more often. Nice menu. Nice service.
I absolutely love the service I have always received going to Herms Hot Dog Stand the Owners Scott and his little brother and mother are very friendly and efficient at greeting all customers and always bring your lunch or dinner right out to your table they also are always keeping the Hot Dig Stand Spic and Span Clean and I just love that and not to mention all the Food is Top drawer I come from Cary IL and when passing through the area always make a stop to eat there and not to mention the owners and workers all always make all customers feel appreciated by giving you a sincere thanks for picking their place as the number 1 Stop for food I would go check them out if you have never been there to eat. I love Herm’s so much. Best Italian beef on the North Shore. The chili cheese fries are amazing. I absolutely love their double cheddar cheeseburgers. Yum yum good food.
