The food was good. I did not realize it was a kosher vegetarian restaurant. However, they do offer fish, eggs, and cheese. The apple cinnamon french toast was very good.
Large selection of items, the strawberry banana pancakes were good! Lots of choices! Can't go wrong with stopping by here.
You have to have the harvest salad. Healthy, and unbelievable good taste. If you can afford it, this is a place to go for breakfast every day. There are so many choices, the food is great, it's like having a little piece of heaven to eat there. It's certainly a good thing to go once a week, even if you are on a tight budget.
Great bagels! Wide variety. The best staff!
Bagel came dry, bearly any cream cheese. Asked for a bit more was told to make line again and pay. Food was ok, nothing special. Was expecting more for a 4.6 star rating. Wife's food make never arrived.
The staff is very friendly and the food is great! They are compliant with current COVID rules.
I feel bad giving two stars, and I still recommend that you eat here, and I would go back as well. But, the two stars are for a reason.I left my Uber with high expectations. My first impression was made when I glanced through the window and saw that all the patrons that weren’t eating, were wearing masks.I put on my mask under my nose out of respect. The atmosphere inside was homey and comfortable.I was excited and optimistic. When it was my turn to order, the male behind the counter with the darker complexion, greeted me with a frantic gesture motioning me to put my mask over my nose.I complied silently, and then asked the covidphile to recommend what I should order for breakfast. He suggested a three vegetable and cheese omelette, with a bagel and hashed browns.I took up his suggestion, and also paid for bottled orange juice.I was shocked to discover that the bottled orange juice that I had paid for, was a Tropicana concentrate, instead of freshly squeezed. It tasted like it was out of the fridge from a nurse’s station in a second rate hospital. Then my plate arrived. (See pictures)As the waitress put the plate down on my table, some raw shredded mozzarella fell off onto the table.I simultaneously noticed, that instead of hashed browned potatoes, they had put a handful of shredded mozzarella on the plate.I was very confused.Upon closer examination, the mozzarella was actually shredded potato, that was barely cooked. I couldn’t swallow more than two bites of this corrupted dish that was presented as hashed browns. Were they pranking me?Omelette was acceptable, but unseasoned. The bagel was good. When I visit Chicago next time, I’ll go back, but I know what not to order.
Excellent place , variety of combinations for breakfast.Food is extremely tasty and ? .Service is outstanding.
Food is good, although overpriced (they'll also sell a quarter cheesecake for the price of half a full one). But customer service is horrendous. Many times they will lose the order and at various times they don't take orders on the phone. Also, although like I said, food is generally good, the quality is uneven. One might get served nice shakshuka with cold hashbrowns, for example. Also, the coffee is really bad. They used to have a nice barista, but since one doesn't work anymore, their regular coffee is just awful.Honestly, for the hastle of going there and dealing with subpar customer service, I feel like one might as well eat at Kosher Dunkin Donuts.
Great customer service and a dizzying array of breakfast options!
