We needed to find a restaurant that was geographically convenient for six of us. This one was recommended and it fit the bill in terms of location. The service was excellent, but the prices are very high and not necessarily worth it. One of our guests ordered a steak medium rare and it was medium at best. He did not want to send it back, but left most of it in his plate. However our server, Raul, was excellent. He was at our side the minute we needed anything. Bravo, Raul!

Wow. EJâs is not the place for me anymore. Mediocre food is what we had. The Veal Chop was tough and flavorless. The cottage fries were cold and dry. And the bread basket was different and not fresh. Iâve been there maybe 50 times. But never again.
EJs is always the best, every time! Food, service, setting, staff, everything. We are so thankful to have EJs on the North Shore and love to go there. They always treat our 9 year old to a wonderful time. Plus always leftovers! Keep up the excellent job EJ and Abellino!

Food was great. Our server Johnny was the best
The service was outstanding. Our waiter could not have been better and made the experience. The fish dishes were outstanding. I ordered the Chicken Vesuvio which I found to be disappointing. The desserts were wonderful. We were lucky to have an early reservation. When the room in which were seated filled up, our conversation was almost impossible which was our signal to leave and let them turn the table.
If you are looking for great food and old school dining this is the place for you. We had the garbage salad which was probably the best salad I have ever had. The steak was cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth. The decor reminds you of the North Woods. The wait staff are there before you can look up to get their attention. I would go in a heartbeat again if I am in the area.
