Great special on legs/thighs. We stretch the meal for at least 2 dinners. And the pieces are generous, not skimpy.
On the 8th day, God created Browns chicken 8-piece dark for $10. AMEN..
I enjoy Brown's chicken ever since I can remember. Their quality hasn't degraded but pricing has gone up a bit...quite a bit!
Chicken was good but it had a smell of fish I'm assuming they dont use different oils to deep fry their food.other then that everything was tasted great.
Ordered delivery 8pc chicken, going to throw most of it away. I could smell that it was burned when it showed up. It was disgustingly overfried, burned, and dripping grease.
I've been here a few times and the associates have always been friendly and quick without sacrificing quality. I've had to wait briefly once, but I'd rather wait if it means a fresh product. I really like the chicken and sides and the store is well maintained and clean. Good job Skokie store. To be honest, I like the chicken at Popeye's better, but the associates are typically angry and rude and the stores are dirty. I'll stick with Brown's.
So many nasty reviews from a year ago while a world pandemic was going on.Food is great and tastes good.The staff has been committed to staying and working this entire time and still service without complaints.Place offers several types of food which is perfect especially if you’re traveling. Why’d someone complain about an establishments menu is ridiculous. LolReally loved the pizza but the chicken legs for me is what’s up.Thanks for still remaining open and being here. Stay safe all!!
This is a great Brown's location-- they don't disappoint and are consistently good. The food is always fresh, the staff are polite, and there's plenty of seating and parking. This is nothing at all like the lackluster one that existed at Lawrence/Central. The food at this Skokie location tastes as good as it did in the 80's when I grew up. I get the fried mushrooms every time I go here-- they are amazing and should be a centerpiece on the menu!
The zinger burger I ate here is top notch! Etched in my memory! Coming from Houston where howdy's burgers are for me the best! These come as competitors
While we are not generally crazy about all the menu offerings at this chain, my husband has one thing he likes and I have a deep, illicit affection for the corn balls. Therefore, three or four times a year, we stop by and guiltily fulfill our cravings. And the last time? It was just as good as the other times!
