Ordered for "room service" and 45 min passed and no call or any notice. I had to call to see why my order was taking forever to be delivered to my room. The lady who answered said "yes, your order Is here ready for pickup". I told her that I ordered room service and she said I'm sorry no one can take your order because we are busy and have a full bar and we are "short staffed".
We did not stay or dine here. This is regarding customer service, though. My sister's car broke down, and she had to park there. She called the next day (the minute they opened) asking that they don't tow her car. She was having a tow truck get her car. The staff member was incredibly rude, worrying my sister that her car was going to get towed. My sister was very upset, so I tired calling to see if maybe I could talk to a manager. I was very calm and nice on the phone to whom I assuming was the same woman my sister spoke with. Well, she said she'd transfer me to a manager but just hung up. Very rude staff.
The waiter didn't stay long enough to get our drink orders to the right person. After our meals were served rarely came around to see if we wanted anything.
Online and printed on their door it says they close at 11pm! My friend and I arrived at 9:43 pm and were turned away and told that they were closed and not taking anymore people. Even though there was a table full of people still drinking and the server carrying a batch of fresh drinks to them. Don’t waste you time going here.
Bartenders have no clue what’s going on. They are very overwhelmed with minimal patrons. Maybe hire monkeys to pull draft beer.
This is by far the worst service I’ve had from a Bar Louie. I was staying at the Holiday Inn and ordered from them and they couldn’t even understand their own menu and the food was missing ingredients. They need new staff that is competent.
Bar Louie Skokie was a great experience. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to all my requests. Our waitress also knew of all the specials and deals going on and ensured we were getting the best deals. Food was great for the price as it was half off burgers and half off appetizers at the time. Drinks were good aswell as it was happy hour. This location inside a Holiday Inn was not as loud as other locations which was refreshing. Overall a great experience and will visit again soon!
I absolutely love going to bar louie. Tuesdays are 5 dollar any burger, very good price for the delicious shaved sirloin burger with carmalized onions, provolone cheese, garlic aloi, and a choice of fries or tots. My favorite in the menu is that. I love Anna who works at the bar. She is super sweet and knows how to bartend! She's super friendly & knows how to really make you laugh. Thanks for the experience!!! Very good, my family loved it, although the pool was a little cold it was nice. The beds were also a little small but it was good enough. The people there also were kinda hard to understand.
We ordered some wings and they were cold and dry. They didn't taste fresh at all. My friend ordered the fish and chips and thought the same thing. Service was great, food not so much.
