Farmers market vegetable, Lolipop Chicken, Hot & Sour soup with shrimp. The Noodles are Excellent.. The service and take out option.
We dined in couple of weeks ago (5/15/22) the service was so-so. We understand that restaurants are short on staff… you get my point. The food was good so we decided to order through DoorDash! They made a mistake with the food and gave it to someone else… so our food was late almost an hour! I called and spoke with the manager and she said it’s not their fault but DoorDash! Minding you that our bill was almost $100!When we got our food, this is what we got!!! Burnt beef on the stick and everything rice burnt as well! When I asked for a refund and I offered to bring the food back, she made it clear that I should take it up with DoorDash because they have a contract and she doesn’t get paid until end of the month!!!! Also, I got the other persons receipt (I did cross off their name and number for their privacy) DoorDash wasn’t any help either! Done with both!
I’ve been coming to Yu’s since the late 1970s. The food is almost always great. (I suspect changes in chefs) But now. When I ordered dinner I fought with myself whether to buy dessert. I should not have worried. The cheesecake I talked myself into was HALF the size of previous orders. But the price was not similarly adjusted. ?
I'm giving Yu's 2 stars and even that is generous. I remember when Yu's was good. Last night we sat ourselves (which is fine) but then there were no clean tables to sit at. We just stood there wondering what to do for almost 5 minutes. They were not packed nor understaffed. We waited almost 30 minutes for our food and when it came out it was cold and tasted like lighter fluid. Weird. One of the toilets' in the ladies room literally moves and the bathroom was so dirty. I needed a straw for my water and was trying to get ANYONE'S attention, but they seem to ignore us so I started to get it myself and then someone paid attention to me. The same thing for wanting to pay the check, where do they all go?? Ugh, I feel we paid good money for horrible food and service. I'm sorry to say, we will never be going back.
I used to eat here often but their service and quality has declined a lot in the past few years. The last time I was here with my family we ordered an appetizer and it came after we were dong eating (lol). That was the almost last straw for me.I decided to give them one last try last week before I wrote this review. I ordered steamed dumplings and they were so dry they were stuck together with the lettuce. It was obvious they were sitting out for a long time as they came out five minutes after we ordered (fresh steamed dumplings don't take five minutes). The sesame chicken I ordered had multiple bones and huge chunks of inedible fat. I know they are made with thighs but this was beyond a normal fatty thigh. I asked for an extra order of rice when our food came out and never received it but was billed for it. Had to ask them twice to refill my water too.I will never eat here again. Good luck for those who do.
Long time regular restaurant for me that has declined rapidly. Mother's day was disastrous for them with not enough of anything. Sure, 15 minutes to be seated at 5pm, but it took 50 minutes for the food to come out. Half of the dishes already cooled off. Had to ask repeatedly for enough dishes and utensils. I spent my meal completely without a napkin.I get you're understaffed, and I'm glad the waitress warned us up front the food was taking a while to come out, but y'all should be limiting your seating if you can't handle a full house.Sorry Yu's, you used to be better than this.

Good Food...Rude Service. Been going here for 20 years and have always tolerated the poor attitude of the servers and staff here because of the excellent food. Staff has now reached a new low. Sat for 20 minutes with no acknowledgment from the servers and manager. This is not a case of short staff. Three tables were seated after we arrived and were provided with water and menus. Two servers stood next to our table having a conversation and ignored us also. Not a place to go to for an enjoyable dinner experience. Quality of food is also starting to decline. Used to love this place...not so much anymore.
