Great food great service!
Best Italian food around!! Always friendly staff too…❤️
What a joke this place is first they have a incompetent phone girl who had to call us back 4 times to get are order correct and the best part is after calling us 4 times they still some how managed to get the order wrong the . For $52 dollars the food had no taste the pizza tasted like cardboard. Then called to speak to the owner some girl came on the phone claimed she was the owner sounded like she was just out of high school she stated she was gunna personally hand deliver the refund instead sends a pizza boy this restaurant has no moral compass no principle or value .
Cocky waitresses that don’t make you feel welcomed. The older, taller waitress was horrible and unprofessional. The food and the atmosphere seemed okay but that waitress was horrible and ruined my first experience at this restaurant. I’d avoid it or come in on a day she’s off. She was just awful and seemed like she thought was better than everyone else that walked into that restaurant
I love their anchovy, black olive, green pepper and onion pizza... They have several seafood pasta dishes which are excellent. Cool place.
We just moved back to the Chicago area, wanted some place special to celebrate. Jenny our Waitress was excellent. Food was fantastic. This will be our new special place to eat. Everything on the menu looked good. Price was just right. We had a fun cocktail after dinner.
We enjoy Riccardo's at least twice a week for lunch or dinner. The veal marsala is magnificent and the pizza is out of this world. The deep dish is much better than Malnotti's and the service is friendly and like family.
Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! Worst place ever!! Avoid Riccardo’s ristorante with every chance you get! The Lady that’s the owner is so rude that treats every customer like a dime of dozen! I have ordered from Riccardo’s a few times and I’ve experienced not a single positive visit. In response to the comment left by the owner:Yes the coupon mishap occurred but we did not call regarding that issue at all. What restaurant asks for a printed coupon in 2022?! It’s not exactly something everyone keeps track of. I did not ask for a free pizza, I simply stated I taste a distinct taste of ginger that was VERY overpowering after having 1 slice. I simply asked if I could bring the pizza back so they could remake a different one. I don’t know why there is ginger in the pizza nor did I care- but my fiancée hates ginger and once again this was a horrible experience! I honestly didn’t think of it much until I was rudely spoken to over the phone and was treated like a telemarketer. No owner should treat any customer like this. I understand it’s a small business, but I was prepared to bring the entire pizza back (minus two square slices) for a replacement. I’ve had the same pizza ordered from you guys many many times. I’m not going to call when I didn’t taste something wrong. I called explaining my issue and you immediately responded saying “there’s nothing we can do”. Who says that? As a restaurant owner, at least respect the customer and take some things into seriousness- we’re not always the ones at fault. No ones perfect, everyone gets that. There’s no reason to blame the customer when the restaurant/chef is at fault.
Attended a Wedding shower held at Riccardo's. They have a very nice facility and private dining or party room. Service was excellent, the staff was very attentive and seemed to be fully staffed. The food was very good. The pizza (thin crust) was perfect. Crispy crust but not overdone. The chicken picatta was excellent, and very nicely done with very good flavor. We also had mostaccioli in a red sauce and a fettuccini Alfredo. All was presented well, looked great and was very good. im Italian and I never go out for Italian food but this was very good!
I do like the pizza but this place has changed a lot over the years in terms of pricing and menu. They no longer offer unlimited dinner rolls when dining in and they also charge $6 for a side of ranch- only to specific people they don’t like. My family of 12 and I went to dine in and when we asked for ranch and marinara, the waitress brought one of each to our table but we asked for more since we did have a lot of people. We also asked how much it was since we wanted a couple, in which we were told $6 for EACH. Obviously I was surprised- who wouldn’t be— so we asked why. A couple minutes later the owner walked over, and she said that due to Covid they needed to increase their prices. There’s moments like this where you don’t argue and you just sit quietly because you know it’s just you that’s getting this special treatment because they don’t like you. No restaurant charges $6 for ranch/marinara and my doubts were confirmed when I dined in WITHOUT my family of 12 a couple weeks later, and a $6 charge of ranch was not present on my bill. Don’t get me wrong, the pizza is great but the way we were treated, simply because we were a large group, was ridiculous.
