My favorite Indian place to eat. So many different flavors. People are super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend it.
Service is friendly, very personal and accommodating. But lets dive into the food: omg! We had the Paneer Pakora ( because we were wary of ordering something that might end up very spicy), and when it came it needed to be spiced up so we ordered a sauce to dip it in! It was a great choice. But when u come, i suggest you try the chilli paneer. And then we got the desi mango chicken curry and the goat kerala curry. The mango curry was the absolute delicious sweet curry and something ive never had. Another great choice. The kerala was soo creamy and the goat was soft and not gamey at all. We had all these with their chicken biryani and garlic naan. Omg you guys need to come try this place out. Promise, you will have a great meal!
The staff doesn't respond properly. When i call and ask them if a particular food item is available, they say that it is available and take the order. And when my husband goes to the restaurant to pick the order, the staff says that they don't have that food item available. And they themselves say we will give you some other food item as complimentary which we didn't ask for neither we wanted. Even though they gave that food item and later charged for it.
Went to priya post covid for a buffet & was very disappointed. There was hardly anything in the buffet. No fresh dosas, idlis, indo Chinese or veg biryani. Especially for vegetarians it’s a no-go. Buffet costed $20 , but felt like it was not even worth $10 also everything was cold. It used to be one of my favorites but not anymore. They had 2 varieties of biryani for non-veg but just plain rice & lemon rice for vegetarians. Curries were also no good. Won’t be going back anytime soon.
Excellent food.Extremely bad sitting arrangement - Large groups sit right in front of your nose if you are sitting in a booth.A group of Indian people (who had US accent) taunted us as we were leaving after our meal. They all started chanting together (both mother and her teenage sons) “OK BYE” .. taunting in typical Indian ascent. Just went to show their upbringing.Extremely unpleasant experience!!
My husband and I wanted to get some Indian food for lunch last Sunday and we came to Priya and they did not disappoint! Being new to the cuisine I was unsure what to order the guys working here are so helpful and helped us figure out what to order and kept bringing us stuff to try. They have amazing food and AMAZING service. I will 100% be coming back.
I ordered food at Priya restaurant for a party. The food was ready on time for pick up, All the dishes were very tasty and the quantity of food also more than enough , Iam Very much thankful to Jhansi madam for helping me in choosing the menu and placing the order. I will definitely order again also recommend to others for all party orders, Thank you Priya restaurant.
Kumar the owner was very friendly and courteous. Food was delicious. Particularly enjoyed the fried Quail. Gobi 65 was very good and so was the Rava Dosa. Must try! I will be back to try the rabbit fry. All meats are halal. Indian food from Tamil Nadu.
We ordered masala dosa. All the chutneys were amazing but dosa could have been lot better. I was having better expectations from this place. Will try again and update the review as necessary.
Went there couple of months ago, the restaurant is under new management. The portions were huge but it lacked flavor. Then new owners were friendly. The previous owners had authentic South Indian flavors & under new management the flavors feel like you would get at a North Indian restaurant. I talked to another family who used to order out from the previous owners & they had the same complaint. Please work on offering authentic South Indian flavors. Wish you good luck.
