Beautiful building and great ambience. Perfect location for a family lunch. All the food comes with breadsticks and soup or salad which are very generous portions and yummy!The drinks are always great and kids menu is perfect with delicious pizza and pasta and smoothies.The service is great and this particular location in Schaumburg in Chicago was fantastic !
Trashy. Tables feel greasy and the chairs are sticky to touch. None of the food is actually cooked at the restaurant. That's the corporate model. All ingredients get delivered to the kitchen precooked and prepackaged. The cooks just throw it on the pan and add some sauce. Maybe that's why their food tastes like frozen meals. Nothing tastes like real Italian food. My server was "in his own world" and looked lost and lazy, but kept coming to me asking how everything is just when I had a fork in my mouth. Speaking of forks... Those hideous three prong forks and other silverware had not changed in over 20 years. My cappuccino had 1/4 cup of coffee and 3/4 cup of milk foam and tiramisu was frozen. Thought that maybe something changed in this pitiful place in the course of years, but nope... Not coming here again. Schaumburg needs to start promoting small businesses instead of holding on to the corporate chains serving garbage.
Going back after a long while. Really enjoyed the food, service and experience on Mother's Day. Waitlisted on their website so we had no waiting at the restaurant. Our server was super nice and friendly.
I have not been here in years but decided to give it a try again! Had a wonderful lunch date with my mom! We both ordered the lunch special of chicken parmesan with chicken gnocchi soup and it was outstanding!Felt really comfortable and it was super clean, servers were masked, and even better because they didn't crowd the restaurant and there was plenty of space between tables. We had a wonderful waitress and the food was super hot and delicious. Can't wait to go back.
They were busy. We did sign up for the wait-list so we were able to reduce the amount of time just standing around. Once we weren't seated we had very good service. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Our food was delicious!
We have received better service at a McDonalds. This location must be under new management because the service is not what it used to be. There are a lot of front end staff standing around and when you ask for help they act annoyed and are curt. Or they simply ignore you which is what happened to us. Nothing is wrong with the quality of the food, but if its accompanied by rude service, the experience is totally ruined. After being ignored by the host, the manager Luz apologized and then we were seated and ordered drinks. Then, Luz came back to our table and asked us to leave because we were being unaccommodating to their service. They were upset that I had complained about their host Ethan. So, we lost our appetite and left. The General Manager Vanna reached out to me directly after I filed a complaint and I told her she can read all about it in this review. Thanks!!
Excellent customer service! Elegant environment! You actually do feel like you've walked back in time to Italy. The prices are really reasonable especially for unlimited things on some menu items. Like the commercial says when your here your family.
Very good food!! Pasta was great. Soup and salad was tasty!! Unlimited bread sticks great as well. Enjoyed a lot!
server was polite, kind, knowledgeable.. but had way too many tables to cover to give good service. She was busting her butt, bouncing from table to table with drink, soup, salad, bread refills.. we hated to bother her for the little items she forgot... bread came after we were done with soup and most of our meals. She did offer to pack some up for us to go if there was any left in back... in an attempt to provide better service. It wasn't bad, poor server Cheryl, was just stretched too thin trying to keep up with all her tables. She needed a back waiter or assistance from a host. She earned her rate today, poor girl trying to make the best of an impossible task
YUM! the food at Olive Garden was GREAT I love it. I always go here when I am hungry and want a ACTUILY good meal. I haven't had much other Italian food but most of the more diverse food cultures I don't like. Olive Garden helped me experience how Delicious food can be so just want to say... THANK YOU to their workers \ staff, etc.
