Always tasty food. They're doing well, despite being a little short handed. I love their steak bowl with rice and the spicy green sauce that I can't pronounce.
I used to go to Naf Naf all the time when it first opened near my old office in Arlington Heights. Last week I was near the Schaumburg location and decided to go get lunch there since it had been so long. Unfortunately, it far from what it used to be. The portions were comically small - truly, when I asked for baba ganoush as a topping, the server used a plastic teaspoon to scoop it up, and then scraped it on the side of the container so I would get no more than a single teaspoon. I was then told I wasn't allowed to have both hummus and baba ganoush in my bowl. The food did not taste fresh at all; the lettuce was old and tasted terrible. I bought a small container of the baba ganoush to take home with me, but I had to throw it away when I got home and tasted it because it was vinegary to the point of being inedible. The quality of the ingredients has clearly gone down, and it's obvious they're cutting corners. I'm not typically one to write reviews, but this experience was so disappointing, I felt compelled to. If you've got a hankering for Mediterranean food, I'd skip Naf Naf and stick with Benjyehuda or Pita Inn for sure.
Amazing! Food is fresh and customer service is so warm and friendly. I stop by once a week and always greeted by Manager and Assistant Manager so kindly. The best restaurant for so many reasons. I get the steak bowl and it is delicious
The staff is amazing!! One older caucasian gentleman is working so hard and so nice and the teamwork between the workers is amazing! Food is great as always! Love the diversity of the workers as well!
Did takeout and was impressed! Everything was delicious and fresh! Will definitely try again!
While I love naf naf. this location has a rude manager who should be avoided. I have naf naf app and wanted to redeem my points. at the register when i scanned my code for redeeming. i clearly heard the beep which told me the scan went through and then proceeded to scan my earn qr. but the system did not take the code in and that caused some confusion at the counter. while i really don’t care much about redeem points, the way this lady (i think she was the manager) spoke with a loud and disrespectful tone really put me in the backfoot. I don’t recommend this location if you want to dine with dignity.the rest of the employees were great and respectful but one bad apple left a bad taste for me.
Food is GREAT. The bowl is very tasty and totally mouthwatering. I was helped by a young employee— not sure, but I think her name was Theresa. I actually had a doordash order I was picking up but I wanted to customize my order by adding more/less of some ingredients in the bowl and she was being super picky. First she told me that I was okay to do that (I had called before coming in) and when I was telling her what I wanted she kept looking back at the receipt and double checking. Don’t get me wrong- I know extra bases are extra cost so I told her what base I had and that I was only looking to just make the bowl in person with the base I bought. For some reason she was giving me a really hard time. Bowl was good though! Naf fries were super oily and uncooked :/
Horrible experience! Staff is pretty rude when making the food and rushed the order even when it was not even busy! Wish the staff wore hair nets or tied their hair!Issue 1 with food: orderd 2 bowls the falafel were literally raw was eating mushy filling for the falafel!Issue 2 with food: ordered the naf chips and they made me wait 3 min because they were making them but was glad to wait as long as they were cooked felt like I got pieces of oil dipped potato slices!
Best fast-casual Mediterranean food out there! Falafels are fantastic and the family meal is a great value for everyone. Garlic sauce is phenomenal - I recommend getting extra.
I hadn't been there for a few months till now. The sizes of the bowls have been skimped. I ordered a double meat bowl and have gotten this before and this time it was definitely short. I mentioned it but, was ignored. The pita was doughy as well. This is easily the worst Naf Naf location I've been to and I live in the local area of Schaumburg. The employees rush you and are rude. Michelle has a real attitude problem. The Naperville location is what Naf Naf is supposed to be. Fresh, good service and they don't skimp! When I pay for an extra harrisa sauce I should also get a full container and not the half of one I got.
