This pretty much turned out to be a comedy of errors. Staying at a hotel nearby, I walked over to place an order to go. I placed my order. Confirmed the order, and was informed it would be 15 minutes. Having time to think, I went back after 10 minutes and asked if they got all my order because the total was low. Bottom line: the order was mixed up, they didn't know how to fix it, they brought my food out (but not all of it). I took it back to the hotel: no napkins or utensils.Just disappointed in the whole "ordeal". Nothing was unbearable, but it all could have been so much better.
Do not order takeout from here. They never give you your complete order, and the quality as of late has been terrible. I even called to give them a chance to rectify the issue but he just told me I should’ve complained previously and then HUNG UP ON ME. This place used to be fantastic but I will not return and I advise others to steer clear as well. Also, the 2-gentlemen in front of me picking up their orders also received the incorrect food—and they told the guy with the pizza he’d have to accept what they gave him or come back an hour later. TERRIBLE!!!
My sister’s and I come in town from Michigan often to visit our sister. We have passed by this restaurant a million times. This trip in Schaumburg we decided to have dinner. A bit sceptical from reading the reviews, I’m glad we chose to see for ourselves. We had the Deep Dish Pizza and salad.Great experience, the food was great? Our server Sarah was awesome and the manager Ren’e was so professional and pleasant. Can’t wait till our next trip so we can taste some pasta dishes?
We love other Moretti’s locations, but this was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had. Our party (6 adults & a baby) was seated in a corner, which apparently made us forgettable. After ordering our food & a second set of drinks - including a hot water to warm the baby bottle - we didn’t see our server for OVER AN HOUR. Most of our (lukewarm) food was finally brought out by someone else after two of us went to ask for our server to come back…no drinks/hot water were delivered, and one person never got her meal. We asked to see a manager who also never showed up at our table! When we finally threw in the towel and asked for our bill, our server made sure to tell us that he’d taken several drinks off our tab…which were the ones we never even received. One star is generous.
They have great gluten free pizza. The service is fast and friendly.
How disappointing! This is beyond disgusting ? how can a known restaurant allow this to even happen. My coworker is at work trying to enjoy lunch when she comes across this in her salmon. Disgusting!Now what?
There are also snacks. Most important of these snacks are CHEESE! Delicious cheese! We sampled several, and while I don't remember the name of the delicious one your server makes good recommendations. There were also mini cupcakes which we didn't get, but one was pear with brie whipped cream. Next time, my little cupcake. The ottoman-like "tables" are small, though, so if you order too much food you'll have a problem.
I called and placed a takeout order through "stace" or Stacey. She was very nice and told me a time to come in.Following her directions to arrive to pick up my food, the cashier looked really confused about my order.After watching her run in circles for nearly 10 min, an employee told me another 15 min and they are just starting to make it now.I've had problems similar to this in the past but this time it was unacceptable; I asked for a refund!Hopefully the management can get it together. This was one of my favorite restaurant franchise.Too add not a single employee wears a mask. So hopefully management can get that figured out too.Happy new year
Expensive for what you got. And our server couldn't keep his mask on. Very annoying and unsafe for himself and all the patrons in the place. We did make a reservation, which I strongly encourage. The deep dish pizza was very much enjoyed by the picky eater.They do have plant based cheese. Huge bonus! And some vegetarian options, though not many. The wine list is small and within normal restaurant range.Cute and busy.
I use to love coming to morrettis, but the lady that was serving us today didn’t even make it enjoyable. We came at 3pm today and it’s Monday so my mom and I were looking forward to the half priced appetizers. When we received our check, I noticed that not everything we ordered off the appetizer menu was half priced. Our server failed to mention that the wings weren’t included in their special anymore. I understand you all get busy trying to serve other people, but please don’t forget to inform the customers about items that are no longer a part of the special. Especially when it comes time for our check.
