Good service.Nice and clean
Waitress never brought our OJ this morning. She seemed very busy when restaurant wasn't that busy.
Nice place to get a quick breakfast bite. I would say the food isn't too bad. Got myself some biscuits and gravy. The gravy is pretty amazing, gave me a reminder of Hillshire Farms Kielbasa, or for some reason that's the first thing I thought of when I took a bite of the sausage gravy with biscuit. The eggs were nice and moist, not over cooked. The sausage links were decent, just not really anything special about em. My meal also came with a small juice. I got the grapefruit juice, which I couldn't really tell if it was fresh, or from concentrate, or fresh and with alot of added sugar. It was just acceptable, I guess.The hostess did a bang up job. She was really polite and willing to engage with the customers. The waitress was a little more like, she was just there to do her job. She did a fine job taking our order and giving us our food, and then our check. No real negatives, a good first time dining at this location. We'd love to come back and get some breakfast another time.
Went here for breakfast with a work colleague. The menu had some good choices but we both thought the place, the staff and our breakfasts, were all rather 'average'. It could do with a bit of a make-over and a good Spring clean in our opinion. Whilst Maxfield's is not too expensive we did have more enjoyable breakfasts at a few other places during our five day stay in Schaumburg. See my other reviews for 'Checkers' and 'Egg Harbor Cafe'.
Absolutely delicious breakfast! Make sure you order the pancakes. To die for! Boyfriend ordered the chicken fried steak and it was so good as well. He liked the cafe vanilla drink too. Will definitely be coming back!
Great food, taste like home away from home, fantastic service that we never felt rushed. Moreover, unknowingly my son left his back pack inside and one of the staff or likely he is the owner, went an extra mile to go out in the parking lot to hand in the back pack. That exceeds expectation. We will definitely come back. ???
Awesome, Late breakfast eggs Benedict with the best hollandaise sauce ever, son had chicken (huge) & waffles, also excellent. Best coffee, & great service too!
Pretty good food and the service was pretty good also. A nice restaurant if you in the area for a quiet breakfast.
We try and go here at least once a month but with everything closing at 3:00 it's hard. Love this place. Server was great. Made us feel right at home. Food was great. Never have we ever had bad food. Will definitely be going back. Love this place.
We have a group breakfast every month of 15-20 guys. The staff at Maxfield's is very attentive, all of the food arrives at once, and there have never been any order errors. A reasonably priced neighborhood eatery.
