I showed up a minute prior to 7pm. The employee was in front of the store front conversing with two other women. When I exited my vehicle the employee quickly proceeded inside and lock the door. I knocked politely and ask if I could place a sandwich order to go and she was then quick to respond no. The time was 6:59pm. I understand our days can be long however it only takes a few seconds to portray acts of kindness. I asked her (the employee) if any other locations were open still and she replied no that they are all closed and I could feel free to come back tomorrow. Then said try the one in Palatine. This was bad customer service. All for a plain Beach Club.
I eat the veto sandwich with chips ,their bread is very good
I have placed an order about over an hour ago. Still haven’t received my food and I am literally working down the street from the restaurant.
Might be the slowest Jimmy John's I've ever come across, and I truly don't understand how. If you know you are going to be running behind, stop advertising short delivery windows. That is something that is not out of your control.
Why are you closed on Sundays? I wanted a game day sammie. Go Bears!
Nobody else has the very best sandwiches like Jimmy Johns!!!
They enjoy being the parking police and disciplining customers like Catholic school nuns when walk in the door. Rude people work here. Do you want to encounter nice people? Go to Jersey Mike's or Subway and avoid this place.
?My Monday pick up/takeout order experience was #Horrible & #Disingenuous & Disrespectful (on the New manager’s part & his co-workers part!)?????? - Would give zero stars if I could.Came in to pick up a regular size sandwich and to use the *coupon of sorts for a free wrap, given to me (*Manager’s name written on a piece of receipt paper). They got my order wrong the last time I was there and the manager gave me his signature on receipt paper to come back in fir a replacement wrap (no business cards or store cards available). The posted advertisement of the two wraps offered (one is chicken & the other is beef) is incorrect, showing the chicken wrap in a red tinted flour wrap & the beef in a plain flour wrap.II asked twice about the chicken wrap as it was being made…about the color/flavor of the wrap because the employee making it pulled out a white flour wrap, which didn’t look like the red tinted color of the chicken wrap advertised on their store poster.Well….they actually don’t have anything resembling a tomato or tomato basil type of colored wrap for the chicken….which is “False Advertising”.So, both the New manager & the employee start to act in a DISINGENUOUS manner….and begin to whisper & laugh with one another in obvious “Intentional Mockery”, regarding what I had asked them and stated about the obvious posted difference in color (with all due respect in efforts to have my order made correctly this time) of the wrap used for the chicken.Rather than be courteous/polite and mannerable about the situation (and explaining the advertisement is wrong, then doing something about it…like calling corporate to get something accurate)….they both chose to act like immature adolescents who had no manners, no morals.Apparently, they’ve received no good home training and absolutely NO thorough, first-rate customer service training (which needs to be addressed with a sense of urgency as it will affect the viability of the store in terms of long-term sustainability potential of the business, as well as increasing attrition two ways).THIS LOCATION has not….I repeat has NOT been reliable, consistent, accurate, responsive, stellar in taste & preparation…in a very, very long time. The old management & team was friendly, they smiled, were courteous, immediately accountable, responsive, helpful, prepared food with a sense of precision, cared about the quality & accuracy and had a sense of urgency. They actually cared about the product they served & the customers they served, relative to the reputation they created and worked to uphold for themselves. It’s a darn shame. This current staff is unprofessional, unethical and disingenuous to say the least; lead my the manager himself & having a domino affect on the other (s). If you don’t want the job please relinquish it to someone who does abd values the position and respects their customers. They need to experience this tactless, rude treatment first hand, or, have it happen to someone they actually care about …in order for it to matter and reverse course, which should never be the case. They should be mindful of the fact that the type treatment or ill-behavior one puts out, they surely will eventually get back.
Placed an order at 12:10pm. Received it at 1:37pm. Called 3 times and they said they only have one driver!!! How does an establishment that claims subs so fast allow just one driver at the busiest time of day?!?! Horrible and extremely dissatisfied.
Ordered on DoorDash thinking I’d get a faster experience because they never have a driver available and unfortunately they also deliver their own DoorDash orders... they don’t see the delivery notes and you’re not able to message the driver to give them the location. They also had their delivery option turned off at the time on their app so you couldn’t order directly from JJ... I’ll just order from Jersey Mikes next time because they don’t pretend to be fast at delivering... freaky fast is a joke for this location when it took over an hour and a half to go a quarter of a mile. If I could give less stars I would.
