I experienced Harold's for the first time today! It was amazing. I ordered a 20 piece of strips for a party and it was a hit. Flavor, crunch , lightly breaded the sauce was mild and a little sweet. Definitely would recommend. Thank you to the staff who helped me out. Great smile
My review is not based on the food. The food has been consistently great! However, their customer service and professionalism took a low yesterday. I ordered two wing dinners. When I got home I had party wings instead of whole wings. The manager Cyn was extremely rude. She told me that’s all they had. I asked her why I wasn’t informed this when I placed the phone order or even at pickup. They didn’t even give me extra to offset what I paid for. Her response was chicken is chicken. What’s the problem? I couldn’t believe it. She had an attitude and told me I could bring the chicken back for a store credit. I told her I was already home and lived too far to come back last night. She told me I wouldn’t get a credit without bringing my food back. I’ve never experienced the level of ignorance and disrespect ever. No apologies. She acted like they didn’t mess up. I always support them. Please get rid of her. She advised this is a family owned business. She makes it bad for your restaurant.
The young lady that answered the phone IS RUDE. She huffs and puffs if you have any questions. She is texting while ringing you up. She refuses to tell you the price, but shows you the machine. The restaurant is dirty an unkempt. Its profanity filled music spewing and to get their attention you have to call while standing at the counter. She also hung up in my face. The picture is displaying something dirty at the counter.
Food cold, Shrimp had to be cooked the night before it was hard as rocks can’t believe I wasted money here again it’s always something the new cooks are trash.. Now I’m still hungry wasn’t even edible except SOME fries..
Be sure to get the mild sauce
We bought a pound of shrimp and got less than half a pound. When my husband addressed it, the employee was rude and argumentative. The taste of the food (catfish, wings, shrimp) was blah. The sauce helped, but you shouldn't have to drown your food for it to be edible.
We ordered 1 4 pc dark and 1 4 pc mixed. Received 2 4 pc mixed. No bread or coleslaw. Called to inquire. Was told no manager at store. Claimed we got a discount for missing items, but charged full price in advance since ordered online. I hate to have to leave negative reviews online.

I came in to place an order for 2 hours ahead since the previous time I was there the wait was very, very long. The girl told me to call in and place my order 30 minutes prior to pick up. I called and placed my order 40 minutes prior to pick up. I came in to pick up at the time I scheduled for, only to wait 20 minutes for someone to come and ask me my name and they said they don't have my order! I left frustrated over to Hooters who got my order ready in 15-20 min. Done!
Terrible service, the kids that work there are rude af. Place smells like weed and they sit in the back and outside the back door and smoke, ignoring customers. Don’t even bother to greet or acknowledge you when you walk in. They also almost always say “20 minutes” and I get there and wait an additional 20 minutes. This time I intentionally went 40 minutes later and I still ended up waiting. My husband likes the chicken otherwise I wouldn’t go back.
