Came in to dine in at 9:01 and the waiter was kind enough to say he would still serve for dine in but a guy ( with a cap on his head) from the kitchen comes out saying “ I don’t give a f…k ! Do what you want to do I going to leave at 9pm”!Is this the way you treat customers and insult them !The guy on the front cashier/server is an excellent person. He always tries to accommodate and treats customer very politely !
The food was bad.The food tasted like someone had described what orange chicken tasted like to a blind person and blind person try to re-create it with only a handful of ingredients.I wish I would’ve just taken $17 and set it on fire. I was better off skipping lunch.I don’t know how to give zero stars but if I could I would. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk!
The food is okay. I liked the orange chicken. The Mongolian beef is okay. I got noodles with chicken and the chicken didn't taste good at all. For the portions are a little small for the price you pay. And I recommend not dining in because then you will have to pay an extra 18% of your order not including a tip.
Beware, if you dine in there is an 18% 'Service Charge' this is separate from the tip that you give against the whole bill which includes said 'Service Charge.' We just gave 25% Tip cause wait staff are good people, but another 18% and that's 43% of the whole bill! Its a decent space only for take out. Small servings for the price though.
The Front Desk staff, Mitchell was extremely friendly, courteous and knowledgeable and we enjoyed our dinner thanks to the excellent service he provided. The food too was well prepared and tasty. What was disappointing was the extra dine-in 18 percent surcharge over and above other taxes on our bill! Not happy!
This location is clueless about IDPH digital vaccination proof. Save yourself a trip because these guys will not accept IDPH digital copy of COVID vaccination. The guy working inside told us the owner of the restaurant will not accept digital copy of the vaccination. Though the memo he has on his door clearly says digital copy is also accepted but this owner has his own rules set. I will report them to consumer department for misusing the health laws mandated by IDPH.
We loved the food. We had garlic fried rice and manchuria noodles.I love the way they received us and let my kids have the food that they got from other restaurant.I first went to the other restaurant near by to this - their did not receive us well and did not accept for my kids to have other restaurant food inside.I dont know why this restaurant is under rated.. prices are decent. It deserves to grow well.
I came in on a Monday night at Hakka Wok, no one else was dining here. We ordered the Vegetable Szechuan Stix, Dry Chili Fries, Manchurian Noodles, and Hot Garlic Noodles. My favorite was the fries and least favorite was the Szechuan Stix. The Hot Garlic Noodles were a little on the dry side but very garlic-y, which I liked. The Manchurian Noodles were ok but nothing special. The service was good, but the food wasn’t that impressive overall.
We like Chinese food very much and try from different places in the area but after trying to eat from there we are disappointed. Very small portions for the price and unsatisfactory taste. I do not recommend .
Super unprofessional staff. Owner really needs to invest his money on making sure staff is well trained. The past 2 years they have had this problem. Today we came back to try after so long in hopes of it being better but only one server ! On a weekend! Which obviously resulted in us sitting for 30 mins with no interaction with server. Sever used foul language after we asked why we have not been taken care of 30 mins. And to top it off the server wanted to obviously bring race in by saying he only speaks “English”. I could understand the frustration of one server having the load on him self but this is the owners fault who fails to take care of his Buisness and employees. Best to stay away unless the owner can actually take care of his business.
