Great place to get shrimp, I just wish I lived closer although it is well worth the drive. We ate at the Chicago location when we lived there and were happy to see one out here. Great food and nice friendly people.
Legendary small lil shack with excellent taste. The breading was very light and the food was never over or under cooked. Seafood is expensive but it was worth the price here. I think my family been going here before I was born. I loved the scallops I just was here July 3rd and told the lady I was happy they are still here and a month later looks like they are shut down. Heartbreak another legacy has ended.
Food was burnt and shrimp tasted bad... like spoiled.
Great food. Great prices
Nice lady but the food was horrible. Pulled my shrimp out the freezer and through them into the fried. I could have done this at home. Boxed fish sticks are way better.
Everything is frozen, the place is small and outdated, take our only no chairs to sit while you wait for your frozen fish to be fried, 2 big display cases in front with paper covering the glass from inside, the catfish didn't have much flavor and was soggy inside. The only person there who did everything did wash her hands but was handling everything and all your food barehanded.
lived in area for 40 years...took our son and daughter in law who live out of area in West Chicago area to introduce us to the yummiest sea food around. Will be getting our sea food there from now on. Best fried shrimp I ever had !!!!
It was kind of small, but the kitchen was very cluttered. Fish was frozen and not fresh like I expected it to be. However it did taste ok.
This place is a joke . They simply grab frozen seafood out of they little home grade freezers and drop it i the deep fryer filled with old stale grease. And wuts worse is they dont even cook it long enough to compensate for them not defrosting it 1st so my food was still cold in the center and soggy .
Great shrimp is always fresh very small not a sit-in restaurant take-out only but they really have excellent shrimp
