First time trying this place and would definitely come again. Located across from Woodfield mall in Schaumburg. Plenty of parking with outdoor seating as well. Reservations are required/recommended. Suggest going on an empty belly, loads of options both in food and especially drinks! There was a funny surprise in the restroom too.
Fat Rosie’s Taco & Tequila Bar is a whole lot of good food & fun! Our waiter Antonio was super friendly and very enjoyable to talk with. He made sure everything was to our complete satisfaction. The salsa with their rustic chips was so delicious. It’s one of the best salsas we’ve had in a very long time. It was unique as it had a smoky roasted flavor combined with not only onion but tomato, fresh cilantro and very mild green chili. You could see all the veggies in it and the flavor was the best! I ordered the Enchilada mole negro platter. Generous amount of chicken, the tortillas tasted super fresh and the mole sauce is some of the best in the area! My husband ordered chicken Enchiladas Rojas which was excellent too. Everything tastes likes it’s made in-house daily and super fresh! To end a great meal we ordered the sloppy sundae which didn’t disappoint. There were fresh made warm churros sticking up out of the glass and a huge amount of premium chocolate and vanilla ice creams. It was a lot of fun as they had someone going around taking table photos and another person going to tables with fake drinks and then pretending to spill them. The reaction on the faces of some people was hilarious. They have an extended huge selection of tequilas and plenty of food choices. This is a great place to really enjoy yourself, eat great food with family and friends and fully relax. We loved it and will be back. Super Thanks to waiter Antonio for making it a great experience!

Really a fun place to hangout with friends n family! The outdoor seating will be great on a nice day! Dive right into the fresh n warm chips and salsa while browsing the menu! Good amount of food and drinks! Could have reduced the cauliflower and increased the other veggies in the veggie fajitas, maybe! Otherwise all good!
Another “Mexican” restaurant featuring lots of tequila choices, drink concoctions, beer, including some good craft brews, and the usual assortment of food. The actual food was very good, if pricey (my Tampiquena was excellent but at $32 not that excellent). I don’t understand why after all these years places like this still have customers putting on oversized sombreros. Concentrate on your service and food instead of silliness. And there are so many small, local, authentic Mexican places to choose from as well.
Went in for the first time for Mothers Day. Great atmosphere and vibe. Servers were on point and friendly. Got four different tacos that were fresh and flavorful. Definitely coming back!
Food was good but definitely overpriced, service was alright. Hostess sat us at a dirty table that she was scraping food off of with her nail and never came back to wipe it down. If I ever come back it would be for margaritas and chips with salsa.
