Everything was very fresh and the service was excellent. However the steak tacos had a lot of fat and should be trimmed better before cooking. Also everything was VERY salty - the chips, the beans, and the rice. They add more salt than any Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. If you have a Salt restriction you better rethink this place. If you don't have a Salt restriction you will like this place. In closing, it was one of the cleanest restaurants I have ever been to.
Best steak torta I had in my life. This is the best Mexican restaurant that I have been to in the past 5 decades! Super friendly staff, and they make their own cheese which is pretty nifty if I do say so myself. P.S. Dario is their #1 employee and I think he deserves a raise probably. My life was incomplete before I came to this restaurant.
I found this absolute gem on accident and I'm so glad I did! The service here is phenomenal, they make you feel right at home. The restaurant was clean and organized. And the food tasted delightful and fresh! I will be coming here more often.
We came here due to the reviews we had seen on this place, and we weren’t disappointed. The service we received from Johnny was warm and welcoming. He is an asset to the business. We ordered chilaquiles, a shrimp taco, and chalupas. All of our selections were freshly made and delicious. Their red salsa is a perfect blend of spice and flavor. We will certainly be back to try more of the menu items.
The food here is amazing, we were in the area looking for a quick bite to eat that was not fast food. From the outside this restaurant looks like a small little restaurant. I was surprised to see how nice the restaurant is and it’s actually a good size not what I was expecting.They have great decor. Our waitress greeted us right away and was so nice and friendly. The food here is so delicious!! very flavorful, way better than a lot of places I have been. The steak taco meat is tender, juicy and not chewy at all. The Arabe meat is prepared similar like the AlPastor meat but is season differently very delicious. This is one of the few places that have Arabe meat. We also order red enchiladas. The sauce on the enchilada is not your typical red Guajillo red sauce. It’s more of a Tomato base sauce with some kick to it. The enchiladas are made with Maza and not regular tortillas which makes them even more tasty. They even gave us a little treat at the end of our meal. I highly recommend this restaurant. they
The tacos are great. They cook your food to order which is the only way I’ll eat a taco. Nothing that has been sitting in a metal container all day. This was a very nice find. Very nice portions for the price
This place did not disappoint! The guac was fresh, salsa delicious! We had the best flautas, everything was brought in such a beautiful, appetizing presentation. Chicken tacos were perfect, felt like I was in Austin, Texas not Roselle!!
I loved it!!!!!!Very friendly, you can tell she was trying hard to please us (it was a little weird, but much appreciated). I really enjoyed the food, a bit expensive. I’m assuming because they aren’t a chain. I had refills for my mango water and when I asked for a cup she even put a little more in my to-go cup so it could be full. How cute is that?The food is good, but let’s be honest come here if you want great service!
This place is such a hidden gem! The restaurant is very clean, great customer service and the food is prepared fresh when you order it! We tried the guacamole, fries and their sandwiches (torta). Their salsa was also very tasty, it came with our meal at no additional charge. I’ve had tortas at other places but this one was hands down the best one I’ve eaten! My friend had the chicken version and I had the veggie version. The bread that they use is simply delicious! The portions are generous and the prices are so reasonable. Will definitely be going back!
