Got burned tip salad with tomato vinaigrette dressing, i think this one of my favorite salad. A variety of ingredients each contributing a different flavor and texture. The chicken tender is not as crispy as I'd like, but it's made from real chicken breast and the bbq sauces add a lot of flavor to it. I would get them without seasoning next time and enjoy with sauce only.

Went here with my wife and son after a day of car shopping. We ordered the sampler platter which had a variety of meats, sides and also came with cornbread. We sat down, received our order, ate and about halfway through our meal I remembered we were supposed to get cornbread as part of the platter. I went to counter and let the employee know we didn’t receive the cornbread and that’s when the problem occurred. The “manager” who obviously overheard my conversation with the employee blurted out for me to look on the tray that the cornbread must be under one of the meats. Funny thing is you don’t receive enough meat to cover a piece of cornbread, anyway, I told the “manager” that I was sure we didn’t receive any and he began telling me that we did, he actually walked out from behind the counter to our table and checked to make sure I wasn’t lying. The whole time he had a terrible attitude and was very unprofessional. I told him that he was being extremely rude and he didn’t seem to care. He then proceeds to ask my wife and son if they were sure they hadn’t already eaten the cornbread. At this point I was in disbelief and could not believe that a so called “manager would have the audacity to say I was lying about two cornbread muffins. It just really pisses me off that they can treat customers who paid over $70 dollars for small portions of sub-par bbq and get away with that. I obviously won’t go there again and if you doc check your meal twice and make sure you get what you ordered before you sit down.

Yummy brisket, I would pass on the slaw, the street corn was delicious. A bit slim on the portions, but overall a fantastic place to go with family and friends to eat.

Great BBQ ! The staff are all friendly and know their menu well. Love the outdoors dining area too.

Our first time here was yesterday to celebrate Father’s Day and we would definitely go back. I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich- didn’t disappoint me at all, tasty, and spicy and my dad had the pulled pork with Kansas Style sauce. Both dishes were delicious. We went for lunch, so it was not very busy. Cool vibes inside with benches, bar- give you very rustic feel, and one must try bourbon there, paired up really well with the food.

Interesting place to eat. Located in a strip mall, but the interior is rustic and industrial looking with unique decor...folding chairs on the walls, and old-school chairs that reminded me of Jr high science class. Prices were a little high, but you do get generous portions. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich, and the pulled pork platter. The platter comes with Cole slaw, pickled onions, pickles, and Texas toast. The sandwich comes with the pickled onions and pickles. The pickled onions were amazing! I don't even like onions that much, but these were really delicious! They had several bbq sauces out on the table to choose from. Each were from different regions...including Chicago style, Memphis style, Alabama style, North Carolina style, South Carolina style, etc. The food was really good. The only thing that could have been better was if the price was a little lower. Still highly recommend.

Solid American BBQ restaurant. We definitely needed a place like this in Schaumburg. Bar here as well. Almost too many options for meats and sides available here. We had a platter of most menu item meats and half the available sides. All were good. Of the 7 of us that ate bbq, we all preferred the Chicago style BBQ sauce, but we tried 5 other options as well. The Alabama chicken, corn bread, elote, and Mac n cheese were all top notch and well worth coming back for. The other items we had were good. We were all too full to try one of the pies or ice cream, but we all want to save room the next time we go for some pie.

OHMYGOODNESS!!!!!! This California girl has had A LOT of BBQ from coast to coast, and a ton in Texas. I have NEVER NEVER EVER had such good Chicken! We got the brisket platter and the Alabama half chicken platter. I had no idea what Alabama chicken is, so we tried it. It's absolutely the best thing I've ever tasted! The crust on the chicken is savory with a little sweet and a small kick of spicy. The Alabama sauce tasted like the green goddess dressing from Panera bread but had mustard base. It was a brand new explosion of tastes to me. I loved it! We got fatty brisket, I would rank it in top 10 of any I've tried. I was not expecting amazing bbq in Chicago, so I'm pleased with this find!!! We will be back before we leave if I have any say in the matter.

This is a great place to come with a date, family or group. Blackwood brought Texas bbq to Schaumburg! They have a variety of meats to choose from pork, beef and chicken. Including 6 homemade bbq sauces that are on the tables for you to generously try out. The Pitmaster as they call them in Texas, slices the meats to order so you never get any meat that’s just been sitting in a warmer. We tried the beef brisket platter and it didn’t disappoint. They ask you if you want lean, a little fat or in between. We both ordered in between. The meat was tender, flavorful and generously portioned. You get your choice of a various side with it and we picked coleslaw. They also had onions and pickles on the plate with a piece of Texas toast as to make a sandwich from the meat. The desert pies looked really good but we were full. Places to sit were spacious, clean and they did provide outdoor seating as well. It’s a unique taste of traditional Texas bbq to try out for fun.

This is my office's favorite place to order food from! We all usually get the spicy chicken sandwiches - I have gotten the spiciest one before and it is not a force to be reckoned with. The flavor is amazing and the portion is pretty big. The sides are great too. My favorite dish is the macaroni and cheese. I can't speak on the BBQ itself, I haven't had it before.
