Haven’t been there for several years. Moved back to the area. Just as GREAT as it ever was. What fried chicken is supposed to taste like!!
Been going here for many years always a family friendly place. With an area outside where you and the kids can feed goats, chickens, and llamas and an indoor museum filled with antiques and a few games to play.
A legacy. Truly the gold standard in family dinning. The chicken is so tender and moist while still crunchy, 10 out of 10. To be honest, all the food is incredible. Please dine in and take your time. Time moves a little slower there and that's how it should be. Make sure to check out the museum and all the cool antiques. A family tradition for years.
Interesting place and food is decent. We sat in and had a large group celebrating a birthday. Most had chicken so it was just bought out on a large plate that was passed around for everyone to share (it was like $3 more for four pieces instead of two so seems a no brainer to get the 4 pieces).Sides are fries, mashed potatoes or baked potato. I just had fries since my son was with us and he would most likely make a meal of the fries. He did ask for the childrens Mac and cheese but as I suspected, he only ate the fries and barely touched the Mac and cheese if he even tried it.Food was fine although I guess I expected more seasoning. There is a section with cars and fun mirrors and although we didn't visit the outside area, there is a petting zoo or farm as well (it was advertised on the menu)
Really GREAT Chicken!!Good Macaroni & Cheese.Their Corn Fritters areSuper Yummy ????.Can't wait to go back & try something else on their menu.Service was wonderful & I enjoyed the antique decor.
Everything!!! the wait went quick, food was delicious. waiter was awesome. the whole experience was wonderful. Thank you for making my Mother's day extra special.
I really have been wanting to go to White Fence Farm as I pass it often. I finally decide to stop. What a disappointment. I was with my mom and husband. He had the 6 piece shrimp and said it was the same as the VFW served, nothing special. My mom and I both had 1/2 chicken, hers was pan fried and mine was the roasted. I have never seen such a small chicken. The whole 1/2 of chicken was about the size of my hand. Originally my husband wanted wings, they are not on the menu, which is very limited, and I can understand why. The wing on my 1/2 was the size of my pinky finger. I jokingly told him that they wings would have not filled a small cavity. The sides were mediocre, bean salad which we don't eat, cottage cheese which was on the warm side, coleslaw which was very minced up, the corn fritters were ok, but had hard spots. Note that they have listed on their menu that they charge $8.00 even if you don't order food, and just want desert or a drink because they serve a "relish tray" which we never received only if they count the slaw, cheese and bean salad as their "relish tray". I would not return to White Fence Farm. We did go on a Thursday evening 4-28-22. The decor was very old, but I think that is the charm that they want to portray. The carpet in the restaurant had a chicken theme, cute, but really needed a good cleaning. We did look at the variety of antiques that they had in the lobby part of the restaurant.
We were so disappointed when we found out they had closed so you can imagine how happy when we found out they reopened. This is truly the best place to get true fried Chicken. The sides are great. The place is like a museum with the antiques around. Kid friendly. Great food, great atmosphere, great service. What's not to like?
Good friendly service, the relishes were excellent as always. Pork chops were cooked perfectly but not the steaks, unfortunately. We also ordered fried chickens to go which were excellent even when cold.
Its like stepping back into the 1930s and having a real home cooked meal! Love the chicken, love the tangy coleslaw, love the corn fitters! Also had a really good steak here, I’d have it more often if the chicken wasn’t so gosh darn addictive!
