Omg..Our waiter, WAS EXCELLENT!But…I Ordered Celtic Eggs Benedict…I Ordered 4 eggs, just in case they were over done.Well, the Celtic part says it’s corned beef hash.Well, they forgot to say it’s “canned” corned beef hash.Smelled like dog food, tasted worse than what I would give my dogs. Trust me, it was rancid.I then get my eggs..They were like orange gel.Orange marmalade consistency.We told our waiter.He brought back, (after 27 minutes) bowl, with 2 eggs in it..Poached, that were so over poached..They were considered hard boiled.So totally done here.Every time.I ate the peach. The only thing edible on the plate.Check out the pictures..
Great service and food! First of all, there were many options on the menu. The menu wasn’t overwhelming but organized and simple to read. I went with my grandparents who were visiting from Mexico. Our waiter, Nathan, was able to communicate to my grandparents in Spanish. That made my grandparents feel very welcomed. Nathan said his Spanish wasn’t very good but the fact he kept trying was so kind! I’ll be coming back.
Always my go to breakfast place. I come here so often with my parents. Food and service is always great! My dad always has to joke with the waitresses and they always take it gracefully even though it is only like 6am. Thank you wonderful staff for not murdering him after all these years!
My favorite breakfast restaurant in all of Chicagoland. There are a couple close seconds but Tasty Waffle is my top choice. From their coffee to their excellent pancakes they do the basics better than everyone else.
My first time at Tasty Waffle. I tried a few Sundays to go but it is too busy. I had a table as soon as I walked in on Saturday. I tried the seasoned potatoes instead of the grilled potatoes. It’s a different taste for me but it was good. Everyone was nice.
BEWARE OF YOUR TAKE-OUT.I ordered an omelette with cheddar, spinach, and bacon but received an omelette with FETA, spinach, and INVISIBLE BACON. I was looking all over for my bacon. Not even some sort of bacon smell could be found. I was not going all the way back to get another either. I took as much of the feta out as I could but it still tasted like that old man armpit you would smell at Circuit City when you would walk in. I will need some time before going back. The mental wound is still too fresh.

I won't be returning for their flavorless food.

Your regular breakfast place, there's a reason it gets packed quite often. Good food and lovely staff(who I've interacted with). My choice place to go while taking my grandma out to breakfast (and it's her fav).
