We were seated quite quickly, which was nice. Let's talk through the experience step by step:The Server: he seemed to know how to do his job, just not well or quick. We waited for 10 mins after asking for water and coffee to finally get them. Then it took him another 15 mins to come take our order. We never got refills on our coffee, because once he dropped off our meal, he never came back except to drop the bill. I tried to get his attention multiple times for coffee, and he either didn't see me or ignored me.The Food: the food was great, but there were a few problems. Not only did the breakfast meals not come with hashbrowns, when we ordered a side of the hashbrowns, it seemed to be cooked on one side (to the level of being slightly burnt) and almost raw on the other side. The meat tasted a bit off, as if it was from a freezer bag/box and was going to expire soon. The Cost: it was acceptable. The coffee was a bit expensive, especially when the waiter never brought over a refill. The food was solid enough, though for the price, hash browns should be included in the meals.Overall, it was ok. Not great, but not bad either.
April 2022n We shared the combo skillet w pancakes. Delicious!

You are no longer receiving a buck from me again. Most, if not all, employees were not wearing masks. In a middle of a Pandemic. That poses a health risk as well as those who have compromised immune systems. It used to be a "go to" place. Used to be a yummy place to go. Now that I saw them Employees not caring for others. It's better going somewhere else where it's away from Politics.
It's a really nice quite place to take my little who is 2 and the waitress is so good with littles. We will be going back. Food is good we enjoyed soup and a sandwich and curly fries with a fruite bowl.
Great local breakfast and lunch spot. Good food at a decent price. Friendly staff.
Love the service and great tasting food
I come here quite often and spend around $40 each time. I always order the Cobb salad, combo skillet, and something else new. Today I had a bad experience. I picked up my food and was called ten mins later to say they forgot my salad so I had to come back to get it. When I got home for the second time I realized my skillet was burnt and dry. I called because it wasn’t edible. The woman who answered said someone would Call me back. I waited 20 mins with no call back so I called again and spoke to manager. I asked to return the skillet and get a refund at this point. He initially said no refund he willRemake it. I explained this would be my third time coming back and I am no longer interested in eating. He said nobody told him i even called. I got there and the waitress gave me $12 rudely. I explained that I paid tax and I would like the tax back as well. She reluctantly gave me my tax. So I then asked to speak to manager in person and she told me no he was busy and then walked off and got him. The Manager wasn’t as rude as her but they lost a customer. The way they handled me as a customer was unprofessional and they didn’t even try to make my experience less of a hassle. I ordered here before and didn’t get my soup (that I paid for) they said they will give it next time. Never got it!!! I didn’t even complain about it. I even recommend this place to many folks but today they lost a customer. Poor customer service. Treat people kind especially loyal customers. Their food isn’t cheap so they need to do better.
Stopped here for breakfast after showing some houses in Joliet and was not disappointed. Good food, great portions and fast service. Will go again!
Lots of diners have had to cut back menu items due to supply shortages, but not here. The menu is still the same, with a large variety of choices. Service is great and friendly, and food is delicious! Prices are pretty low, too, so that's a plus.
