Damn good food. Went in for the 1st time and got the buffet. Figured ya can't expect much from a buffet lunch at a bar, but I was very wrong. While the number choices weren't high, the food quality was AMAZING! The fried chicken was perfect, the mac n cheese was like liquid gold. The mashed potatoes and gravy were just like mom's. The salad bar had good choices and great dressing options. Will definitely be returning!
I absolutely loved this place, the other night I literally was chased off by the owner Jill because she was completely hammered and I said I worked on ATMs, she flipped on me and chased me out because I said a customer one time asked me about the ATMs when they went down in her bar, like I touched her equipment for free, LOL... ABSOLUTLY will never return. WOW NEVER in my entire life have I seen such unprofessionalism, please avoid this place. WOW!!!!! MY Favorite place gone over someone else's ignorance.
Best taco pizza I've had since moving to town! Their food is delicious and their prices are fair. So happy I found this gem! We'll definitely be back.
Took some friends there for dinner. Food was excellent. Wait staff is great. We like this place for live music too. Highly recommended!

Went out Sunday to meet another couple for the breakfast buffet & bloody mary bar. We were just going to be there for a couple hours.... well, 6 hours later we left! The food was great, the drinks kept flowing & Becky out server was on top of her game. Becky made sure we were well taken care of, the drinks showed up on time or FASTER. Our food order was made to perfection & Pat (the owner) bought the table a ROUND OF DRINKS. I have not paid much attention to Whiskey's Roadhouse & I can only say to my detriment. A fool i have been to dismiss this place. The service was incredible, again Becky made us feel like we were only table in the joint & it was a packed house! The food was great & the drinks could not be stopped. One of the best times we have had in a long time. You need to come by Whiskey's & experience what getting out of the house & having a good time really looks like!
Always a good time. Jill has a great Sunday breakfast buffet, great atmosphere and good people, most of the customers are great. The food is a fantastic gut bomb. You'll never walk away unsatisfied.
Good food, good service and good music with good friends = a great night.
If anything, this has a place in my heart where The House Cafe in DeKalb used to be since The House Cafe is no more. Thank goodness for Whiskey's in Rockford though. Live music on Saturdays as far as I know since I only go here every Saturday. Really neat staff, not to mention a really cool bouncer, and the crowd that goes here are some honestly genuine people. Hard to find these days, but Whiskey's is a good time and a good place.
This place is a total dump! If you're a barfly this may be at the place for you, but if you have any class whatsoever don't waste your time.There was Zero service, I probably could have gone behind the bar and made myself a drink faster than if the bartender had even noticed we were there. The menu consisted of only fried food, and then place stunk of beer on Grease.After about 15 minutes of being ignored and taking in the local folk I decided to leave.I think you can sum up the place with one word, "yuck".
