Ordered online and got only 1 of the 5 sauces that was supposed to come with the order. With how expensive it is you'd think they could get the cheap part of it right.
I gotta say, I heard the myths of these “twisted tenders” and I must preach the word, they are VERY delectable. I guess you can call me a “tender defender.” I searched far and wide to find these wonderful CRISPY tenders and trust me when I say crispy I mean, CRISPY CRISPY CRISPY. After taking a bite of one of the tenders I was taken to another planet… no wait may I say, I was taken to another galaxy. I must say these tenders were rather hard to find (unlike stated in other reviews.) I had to ask a few locals to help me track down these scrumptious concoctions of joy, but it is not about the destination rather the journey and the people you meet along the way! One day the question may arise “Would you go back?” The answer is simple, yes, there’s no other place I’d rather be than enjoying a wonderful crispy tender! This establishment will always hold a special place in my heart. I’ll never forget my first twisted tender.
Twisted Tenders is by far one of the best restaurants I have been to in all of Northwest Illinois. First let me tell you, there’s not an easier place to find. This nice BIG establishment is very accessible and not a hassle to find at all. The food I got was IMMACULATE. Sweet and juicy tenders and when I say juicy, I mean JUICY JUICY JUICY. Great selection of sauces and good range of drinks. I will say this place really exceeded my expectations and I am planning on returning as soon as I can.Summary: Easy to find, juicy tenders, great location.10/10.
I ordered DoorDash and got nothing I ordered. I ordered the chicken tender sandwich and it was supposed to have cheese and their signature ranch on it… it was plan. And then I ordered the. BBQ waffle fries and got soggy plain regular fries. Big yikes with this place
Just placed a door dash order and received 4 cups of butter and none of the 4 sauces we chose to go with our 20 chicken Tender order. We received regular Mac and cheese when we ordered chipotle Mac and cheese. We ordered waffle fries and received regular fries. Very disappointed with this experience.
We ordered takeout today and were extremely disappointed. This was our first time eating here and pretty much everything that could have gone wrong, did. The chicken was extremely dry, fries were cold, and my husband ordered the chipotle mac and cheese which was completely inedible. We will not be returning.
The food was beyond horrible. Almost every single chicken tender was burnt. Like not edible burnt. My daughter her prefers her food like this could hardly eat. Also the Mac and cheese sucked. I could have went to raising cane's paid less and got drinks for way better quality. Smh 0 starts ?
