Truly one of the best bars in Rockford. I prefer stockyard over every other bar. The welcoming atmosphere pulls you in and makes you want to stay. The entire staff is amazing, on point, and go above and beyond to satisfy their customers. And the musical acts that come through are all top notch. Truly the only bar keeping Rockford metal scene alive and well.

Went for lunch on a Friday and was warmly greeted and welcomed by Ginger. Burgers were cooked perfectly and the onion rings were amazing. Great specials and the atmosphere was fun and welcoming! Highly recommend!
Great food, great staff. The menu has burgers named after local bands. There is the capacity for shows and other events. The venue has ample parking and gaming available. This location works with the sister location (District Bar and Grill) for booking shows.
We were in town for a softball tournament and chose to come here for lunch. Great choice! The kids played in the arcade and the adults had a few cold beverages. Highly recommend!

Highly Recommended!!! This past weekend we threw a surprise party, the room had more than enough space for us! The kids (ages 3-15) stayed busy with the arcade and LOVED IT! Everything was clean and well placed! The bartender was extremely friendly and helpful! We will definitely be back! Billy and his staff are just the best!!!
most of the staff here are good, however there is one bartender/server that is very rude, dresses very inappropriately most of the time when children are present, has an extremely poor attitude and spreads lies to see what she can gain. there are others who work there who, unfortunately fall for her tricks. Quality of the food isn't bad. fairly decent atmosphere if you are into heavy metal and want to go deaf, but other than that it's an ok bar for this town.
