This is a hidden gem for BBQ in the city. If your passing through or a local that has never tried this place I highly recommend to give this place a shot.
Just horrible customer service over the phone, I asked did they have ribs left. I misunderstood what the woman said, and I asked again because I wasn’t sure if she heard me, I heard her immediately catch an attitude. And Say “here Jaz, I can’t deal with these people” like come on. Half the time they either have their phones off the hook, or they’re out of ribs. It’s like why even run an establishment like this if you can’t handle the customers. I truly dislike how they perceive themselves as this Christian like restaurant, but they have the worst type of attitudes (Jaz was nice though after that mishap). Them and Rick’s Ribs truly should not run a business if they can’t even answer the phone or handle the volume of customers that they may receive. I understand first come first serve, but they literally have been this horrible for YEARS. I’m over it, Get more staffing and have enough product… it’s called SUPPLY AND DEMAND. Get a new vendor, idk that’s not for me to figure out. This all just a suggestion, but control what you can first and that the attitude. No one wants a side of “sassy” with their rib dinner.
The bbq is so so good as is the staff with how fast they can crank out the orders. Sho boat is a must.
Food is good, always hot & fresh. Didn't give more stars because they only take cash now, would be nice if they take credit/debit cards. Also could be more friendly.

Delicious food and very nice people inside! We stopped on the way back from a ski trip and it was perfect for the end of a long day. Will be stopping back in whenever we’re in the area
Forget about smokeybones and dickies bbq. This place knocks them out the park! My girlfriend and I wanted something other than pizza for Sunday football. We decided to give them a shot since we're new in the neighborhood. The Showboat with fries is AMAZING! We also ordered the Mac & cheese, baked beans, stuffing and greens and they were just as good. The lady behind the counter was also very friendly and helpful with our questions. Best BBQ in town! Get you some!
The ribs in the rib dinner were delicious and very meaty. It was filling for sure. I had to save the rest for the next day!
Yall should be reported for misleading and false advertising, what soul food BBQ restaurant don't sell ribs.
A little pricey, but worth it! You get a lot for the price and the food is amazing! Service is just as great! You are welcomed like family. Even the patrons are friendly! I haven’t been here in about 15 years. Don’t know why I waited so long to come back. I remember the food being good then as well. Just forgot it was THIS good. Can’t say enough about how flavorful the food is! Glad I stopped by today. I will be making a point of stopping again soon. I also liked that I only had two items to choose from. Saved the time and hassle of trying to figure out what I wanted to eat. LoL. The picture I used is after I ate more than half. Lots of food.
