It would of gotten 5 stars except I made a reservation the day of because that's the only way you can. For dinner time at 530 on a Saturday. Got there and they told me I didn't have one. So now I had to wait a half hour. Then sat at the bar to wait with no one else there and took 10 min for someone to come take our drink order.
Large family here. Server was excellent patient and helpful. Ordered Whiskey River BBQ burger, which was delicious but was just warm when I received it at the table. Cooked well as requested, just, warm. Kids all enjoyed their foods, and the Bottomless sides is VERY appreciated, particularly for the kiddos. The freckled lemonade hits the spot. Would return with family again.
I have Celiac Disease, so I'm on a very strict gluten free diet. Where we're able to eat on a road trip is scarce. We've almost always have good experiences with Red Robin, so we decided on the Rockford, IL loaction. By far the best burgers we've ever eaten at Red Robin. I got the garlic, parm, and mushroom burger while my boyfriend got the black and blue. Just an all around great experience. Literally cooked to perfection
I took my three boys here for an early dinner (Sunday), mostly because none of us have been to Red Robin... It was pretty busy but we got seated right away. We all had burgers with no complaints. Two of my boys got the garlic fries and really didn't care for them, not enough flavor. The stake fries really good and crispy. They were on top of drink refills and checking on us. My only issues are the prices and they don't tell you that you will be charged for playing games on the thing provided at your table. You really should tell people even if it is only $5....
Ordered asking for curbside pickup. Arrived a few minutes after the time they specified. Pulled into a pickup spot and called the number on the sign. Gave them my name and spot number and was told my order would be right out. 10 minutes later I walked inside to find our order sitting there on a to go rack. When I mentioned how I waited 10 minutes outside expecting the curbside pickup I was told would be right out, the employee didn't even seem to care. On top of that the food was cold and the burgers had a significant amount of pink despite requesting no pink. So basically they can't make a simple burger that they supposedly specialize in correctly and don't really offer curbside pickup. Last time they get my money.
I had a really good meal here the last time my family came for lunch in the area. It's probably my girlfriend's favorite place to come by with her family and I've never been disappointed in a meal when stopping in. I deeply recommend their sweet potato fries or veggie fries. Either one would make a great side to about any meal you're having.
Had chili chicken breast, it was ok, would not order again. Some sweet potato fries were yummy, some greasy. Onion rings were delicious. Garlic fries were good, as well as spicy crispy wrap. Waitresses were really nice! However, on saying all this, they need to update/upgrade their plastic drinking glasses. They are chipped at the rim and broke on the bottom; it's very tacky and unprofessional.
This is definitely my kind of place. I love burgers and fries, and I'm no food critic, but Red Robin has some of the best burgers around. We've been here many times, and I think I have had every burger they make. Everything is very good. The service was excellent at this location on our most recent visit. Most burgers and fries run in the $12-$15 range. Bottomless soft drinks were $3, and bottomless root beer floats are $5.The worst part about this place is that I always eat too much.
Hadn't been here in a hot minute but boy was it good. We got there right before the dinner rush and the food and service was amazing. Highly recommend even if you just get takeout. If you do decide to dine in be polite to the workers and wear your mask when not at the table!
The food tasted good and was put together beautifully. Our server was attentive and friendly.
