Why order online if you have to wait in the drive thru for over 30 mins?Why is the dining area closed during operating hours? Why is this a continuous thing? Who is in charge? Says a lot about management.The food means nothing if the customers experience is always inconvenient.Oh and do not bother calling, they do not answer.Shut the doors already. It's quite clear you are "under staffed".

The food at Popeyes is good, although at the branch located on State Street the service is been declining for awhile now. Some times the workers are in a bad mood and it takes a long time to get your order and in more than one occasion one of the sides is missing. Although I love Popeyes chicken, I tried to stay away from this branch.

Picked up food for my American Legion Post to take to the Veteran's Drop-in Center. This place replaced another that raised their prices to way more than we could afford. $170 for enough chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, coleslaw, and bisquits to feed 25 Vets and have left enough for some of them to take home. And the Vets really loved it. We were pleased.

The food here is pretty great. I love the chicken sandwich. But other than that, the place is pretty rundowned, especially the drive thru. And don't get me started about the lot structure.Popeyes at this spot in particular is pretty decent but my biggest gripe is how difficult it is to enter and exit their lot. I wish they had an entry along Fairview but sadly it's just Estate. There's been several times I would have gone to them but the thought of trying to make a left to exit onto the busy street made me pick elsewhere.

Very rude! They literally had just opened and I could hear from the first person infront of me the attitude! I ordered online for pick up at drive thru because I'm pregnant with complications and even though my order had been paid for they said I had to come out and get it inside! When back in February I was able to pick up through the drive thru! I told them to forget it. I canceled it got my money back and went to the one on N. 2nd instead!

I ordered a 30 piece family meal at 10am this morning to be delivered between 11:30 and 12:00. They canceled my order at 11:39 saying they didn't have chicken. A couple of weeks ago I ordered thru their app and went to pick up my order. The order was not ready and I asked how long it would be. They said they had no clue and that it was pointless to order thru their app, because they wouldn't get it ready until I got there.

Old food thats been reheated is garbage..not the food people ordered...thanks for the 50 dollars worth of garbage

I'm sure working here is no picnic but a bad attitude only makes it that much more difficult. When I ordered I said I wanted the shrimp special. That's 8 butterfly shrimp with a side and a biscuit. That was $5.00 but they said almost $7.00 I showed the discount on my phone and was told very rudely that I should have given the code. I held the phone up for her to read it. Most fast food places will have patrons pull into a parking space to wait for their order so they don't keep others from getting their food. The person in front of me was too close so I couldn't leave and there were others waiting too. One of the workers said I had plenty of room to leave. I didn't. Buy the way I didn't get butterfly shrimp, just small shrimp that were under cooked. I had been warned that this was not a good Popeyes.

Rockford’s East State Street store is one to avoid. You can be assured of the POOREST service there. In the past year we have come to expect a problem when we order for this location. The last time was yesterday, Friday April 22, 2022 at approx 1pm. We placed a delivery order through the app to be delivered. Upon the dashers arrival he was told the didn’t have any chicken sandwiches. It really baffles me how that could happen but considering the place, it makes sense. I was given no option so I told the dasher to cancel. We phoned the store and were told the manager would return my call, which never happened. I did send a couple of messages through the app and I got a email last evening stating my 35.58 would be refunded in 3 to 4 days. It didn’t take 3 to 4 days to take it out of my account. I will NEVER do business with the Popeyes on east state street in Rockford Illinois ever again. I suggest to avoid this place like the plague.

This is by far the worst location in the country. I work for all 3 big name food delivery services. I have given this, 'restaurant' multiple chances to redeem themselves. Each visit is worst than the last. Majority of the staff stand around getting paid to do nothing. The manager stands up front. She slowly tells each customer what they don't have available off the menu. Never even suggesting alternatives. Meanwhile, stacks of chicken sit under a warming light all night. GROSS ?. This store desperately needs inventory control, and employee training. I will not be returning for myself, or for any of my cutomers.
