Not only has the quality of care for the product gone down so has the quality for the staff they have. Management lets anyone that is friends with them continue unacceptable problems, for instance not coming to work on time with no acknowledgement or consequences leading reliable staff, that guest enjoy seeing suddenly leaving.Hopefully cooperate starts seeing what is happening and starts making changes to this place before it is run to the ground and will disappear from Rockford completely….Almost exact words from one of those in management of this restaurant was… we will just hire more servers and you can fight for your hours.
We were real regulars before they went full corporate several years ago. Everything went south after that. (Seasoned fries?)Came back a while later and they were OK.They're back to full corporate again.And Corporate is sleeping on this store.I mean.... Look at the TVs.Seriously? This is what you offer sports fans?As far as the food goes, don't expect their Nashville hot sauce to taste like Nashville Hot. I had a hard time telling the difference between their "Nashville" and a hot Buffalo.
I specifically ordered 6 twisted tenders meal. Online menu stated waffle fries included. I paid extra for carrots and celery. Waited almost an additional 10 minutes than stated for order while on my meal break.. Got the order.... no fries. I called them and then went back in. Very argumentative manager. Told him I want my.money back and will go to Wendy's since I'm in a hurry. He said...ok...just know it will take longer there. My 1st time trying their food and my last. I've been a waitress 30plus years and that was definitely not taking care of a potential regular guest. 0 stars for professionalism.
Good food fast and attentive service. Wait time for our food wasn't bad either we went on a Saturday at 6 pm and it was busy but our service didn't suffer! Tha k you for a relaxing and enjoyable night!
I have loved Old Chicago since I moved near one 2 years ago. Their service has gotten shady. I ordered one of their deep dish pizzas they were promoting. My first bite felt doughy and you could see looking at the pizza it was very undercooked. I got the waitresses attention and informed her. She first asked if I wanted her to put the same pizza back in the oven. Um no. She offered to have a new one made which should have just been implied and not offered. The next one came back fairly less doughy. The manager came out after this to offer his condolences and tell me it’s hard to cook these pizzas good. For real? I’ve eaten here numerous of times and I’ve never received such and undercooked pizza. I was offered no discount or another replacement. Pathetic.Update… I responded to Old Chicago’s request, and I have received no response from them.

We came in Saturday night as a larger size party. Our waitress, Kayann (Kay), did amazing. She had plenty of other tables including a few other parties and made sure to still be very attentive to me and my friends. I could see amazing teamwork between her and the bartender and also someone I believe was the manager. Really a great experience and was great to see everyone working together. We will definitely be back and hope to have Kay again.
The food was out of this world good !! And the service was even better. Our waitress Kara was amazing knew exactly the right moment to come and go. Just all around great time and experience.
Fresh food. Not the best wait time to be in an empty establishment. Great music. One of our pizzas had the brush fibers on it but they happily replaced it.
I had the Chicken Pesto Alfredo. It was a bunch of pasta with about two ounces of chicken and a piece of broccoli. It tasted good but was expensive for basically just noodles. Four stars because the service was good.
