Oriental buffet could do so much better on there selection of veggies, I wanted a salad so bad and I was really excited to go make it until I get up there and realize it wasn’t what I was expecting at all, they definitely could of had FRESH leafy greens instead of a head of lettuce just pulled apart (I can do that at home for cheaper) half chopped carrots, no labels on any dressing, and sandwich tomato slices.. I’m just saying anyone that wants to actually eat a salad wouldn’t eat it here.. my favorite thing was the fried rice and general tso chicken, they weren’t bad at all on the hot cooked food.. just could use some adjustments to the salad bar definitely
The food is so bad that it made me have a mental complex making me think that my taste buds are just permanently ruined from covid but no the food here is actually just that bad
Been going to this place for 15 years and I believe it's the best Asian buffet in rockford.
Other Chinese buffets are better. Conveniently located for me. Never see it crowded or busy.
Number 1 Oriental Buffet has been a staple in our family for years. Outstanding delicious food!
It has gone slightly downhill but they're still worthy of going out to I think it's due to the pandemic that a lot of places aren't fully up and running like they should be the food was good the service was okay but they had to stay away and they couldn't come around as much as they used to and ask.
Ate here on a Sunday was 16.50 kind of expensive. I can't eat seafood so ended up paying a higher price for something o can even eat. The food was amazing though
It was ok. Food quality is usually better. Most of the trays were empty. Even though it was towards the end of the evening. The food could have been replenished.
I have been eating here for over twenty years, and I keep coming back, but not more than a few times a year. It's not the best restaurant in town by any means. The food is all fine, but I don't think it's super (at least lately), although it's my son's favorite restaurant. To be fair, this business model requires a certain level of traffic to operate at peak performance, and with the pandemic issues, that's rather difficult to do right now.I like that you can walk in and get seated right away and that there is a variety of food to please everyone. In addition to the expected Asian food, there is also fish, pizza, chicken nuggets, and other options. The variety makes it nice for any group that wants to go together without having to really agree on the menu. I have been here with a lot of different groups, and no one has left hungry.The kids like the fish tank.
Food is great. But the floors are sticky, the tables are sticky, the chairs are sticky. Could definitely use a good cleaning.
