First time at Maciano's. Traveling by Chicago area and wanted deep dish pizza. Our server was awesome, very friendly. The 14" inch deep dish pie with 4 toppings was cheesy and delicious. Just way too much food for 2 of us. Took the other half to go and ate at our hotel. Only downside was the fried calamari app was cold and greasy. We sent it back and were given credit. Definitely recommend the deep dish pizza!
We have been fans if Macianos as our favorite place to have pizza. Last night we experienced the worst pizza we have ever had. The two kid Pizzas we had were awful. They were both way to much baked. My husband's tasted burnt and the crust you could have broke a tooth on it. Mine had a chunk cut off and the bottom of the crust was black and could not eat it. SO DISAPPOINTED!
Their breadsticks are HEAVENLY. I am not exaggerating when I say this. I have never found a place even close to having breadsticks as good as them. Their pizza is also delicious! They used to have amazing mac and cheese balls as well but stooped making them which is a huge bummer.
Just when I thought pizza in Rockford couldn’t get any worse. Delivery driver dropped my food off at the wrong house and was rude about it. Called the store, and while manager was friendly, I had to ask for the driver’s tip to be taken off..no other compensation was offered. To top it off, pizza is luke warm at best and crust tastes more like cardboard than food. Oh! And it was over $30 for a medium 3 topping pizza. End rant. Will not be a repeat customer.
Best thin crust pizza in the area. The service is always great as well. Coming from Chicago we're just thankful we could find good thin crust out here
If you haven't had their deep fried ravioli, then you NEED to try them! That's what keeps me coming back. Not that the rest of the food isn't great, but the ravioli is heaven in my mouth! The pasta dishes that I've tried so far have all been delicious as well.
Was very disappointed after always boasting about them having the best pizza around, I was very upset with last order as well as the response to the complaint. I spent $70 and the pizza was not hot and fresh it usually is and was not prepared as requested. I call to make them aware and I was met with $5 off next order. Which obviously I won't be using. It is a bummer because my entire family and our friends swore by Marciano's and we always pay good money and tip. So now we are on the hunt for the next good thing. I guess it's true when they say all good things must come to an end........?
Our order was wrong. When we called and talked to the manager about it she didn't believe us and made us text her a picture of the pizza for proof. We had to go back to the store and ended up giving the incorrect pizza back to them and they just refunded us. I contacted corporate about the issue twice and never received a reply back. Will never go back again which is a shame because we really liked their thin crust pizza. Ther are plenty of other pizza places in Rockford that know how to treat their customers.
I show up to pickup my order. She says 5 minutes. 10 minutes later she said they’re packing it up. And then someone else comes and tells me they didn’t even start cooking it yet.Waited here for almost 30 minutes longer than I should’ve all because one of their employees can’t tell time or was just straight lying. I was clearly upset and they knew and honestly I’m scared to even eat what they packed me for fear of what they might’ve done to the food. $20 down the drain all because some lady can’t tell time.
Walked in an hour before close. Was told could not be seated due to short staffing. Left, came back in to place a to go order. Listened to server and kitchen staff complain about bad tips, and better conditions at other restaurants. Walked out after being ignored for 10 minutes.
