This place is an amazing hidden treasure. Truly authentic Mexican and seafood. I had the tequila shrimp, which was fresh and delicous and easily a full pound of shrimp. My family members had burritos, which were huge, and enchileadas... all very delicous. We were there on a Saturday night and the music was super loud, so be prepared. It was also very busy and while our order was taken and the food delivered quickly, it took a while to get plates cleared and a check. However, based on the responsiveness of the staff to our requests I think we could have gotten after-meal service a bit quicker had we been more assertive. All in I would highly recommend this restaraunt and can't wait to get back.
I tried the fried shrimp, It was precooked shrimp and just deep fried. So chewy. Unfavorable. Overcooked. 17 dollars just 8 pieces of shrimp along with rice, plain lettuce, and french fries?(why? Dont ask me, every playe comes with it.) OVER PRICED for what u get.
I had a great experience with this restaurant...the food was fresh the waitress was super sweet the environment was nice and clean ...overall I recommend this place 5 stars ?
First time being here and it was disappointing first the waitress was rude. Second the food was gross and third the micheladas were not well prepared they just threw a bunch of shrimp in there ... will not be going back in there !!!

I love the side of Mexican food that includes seafood as well as traditional options! The service is friendly and the prices are fair.
? ?They are a cut above most mex-style seafood places! Very very good!!Always fresh and never disappointed when I visit. Highly recommend this place I give it a 10/10! Great traditional environment and not franchise. Isla del mar is A MUST try place!!Oh and the fish Ceviche, TO DIE FOR!Must try the grilled shrimp 110% delicious!!-wedo
