Brought my kids for dinner. We sat outside, which was really nice. I had the Italian beef quesadilla with the homemade chips. Yummy! One of the boys had the Nashville Hot fried chicken sandwich. Outstanding! And my pink starburst drink was delicious. Will definitely be back!
This is the spot. Amazing food great people & even better spirits ❤️ It’s my go to place. I challenge myself each time to try something new and each time I am never disappointed.

Ernie's has great food and a great beer/ cocktail menu. The service doesn't get much friendlier. Tonight I enjoyed their fish fry with homemade hush puppies. Excellent!
Been to Ernie's several times now. Everything off the menu turns out great. A step above good pub fare. Beer selection is one of the best in town and they showcase new and uncommon choices. Atmosphere is laid back and service has been decent
Busy place, but good food. Patty melt was overcooked a bit for my tastes, but was fine and the meat had good flavor. The Fried Cajun Potato Salad was amazing! Not too spicy, but absolutely delicious!
Food and drinks are okay, service is horrible.Sat for 15 minutes before our waitress even acknowledge us and said she would be with us shortly (another 5 minute wait), yet the party that came in after us had drinks almost instantly.Waitress never really checked on us, we had to flag her down to place our food order.My husband asked for a box for his wings that he was going to share with our son and our waitress assumed that was us asking for our check.
Great food, great atmosphere, friendly staff. Love seeing Suz’s friendly face every time we come in. Always prompt with her service & expertise on the drink selection & recommendations on the menu. I recommend this place to all my friends on the regular! Always bragging on the food to them!
Atmosphere was great, food was pretty good. We had the fish fry which I heard was great, and the smash burger and fried potato salad was too. I wish they had table tops for two in low top chairs instead the tall chairs. My short legs fell asleep from just hanging. Lol!
Stopped in Ernie's for the 1st after hearing so many amazing things about this place and its spectacular food. Came back into town after being gone for some time to see some old friends and this is where they chose to meet up. I was a bit skeptical when they said it was on 7th and 5th. Not skeptical anymore! Also super happy they decided this as the place to go!Craft Beer menu was A++Hand Crafted Food A++Service A++Clean, Well priced menu, Cool vibe and on and on.This place is 100% Awesome. I wish the owner the best of luck in the future. Hope this place can be a beacon of hope to others businesses wanting to open and breathe some new life to this area. Hands down a new Rockford Staple that I will personally be supporting everytime I come to town. Also mentioning this place to all my friends a d family!
