Use to be a great place but now isn’t worth the effort, supported them through the pandemic but now the staff is just rude. I will take my business elsewhere
Beware this place is Nasty, dirty, bad communication and talks about customers and older Spanish male very rude to customers. Read reviews after leaving without ordering and very proud we did not provide them money because they mistreated Military Veterans. This should not be tolerated and will never step foot within this filthy location. Clean the tables, wash your hands and don’t itch your head and wipe your mouth while eating behind counter, which you should not be doing in the first place. Nasty and I’m awe. Wondered why the parking lot was kind of empty.

Love the quality of the food here, but I've noticed that if you order delivery you seem to get less than if you go through the drive thru yourself.

We order very often but it’s not always consistent quality. Love the elote, sometimes it’s a bit watery though. Guacamole is excellent. We always get steak tacos and beef flautas, not are excellent.
Stop right after they open ordered 4 tacos. Person at the window was not very attentive or friendly. They did fried the meat of 2 of my tacos and was super dry the other 2 the meat was bad did got really sick it was even smelling bad. I want to return and give them back the tacos so they know how bad they were. I'm very disappointed.
Besides big burritos they have a great Caldo de Pollo and offer a generous portion of really tasty Elotes. They also have fresh grilled serano chiles and a delicious moist tres leches cake... all of which are harder to find in Rockford resteraunts. Quick and tasty and not a budget breaker. Drive-thru and dine-in available. We love them.
Just got my food and in mad asl bc most of my steak is fat and the whole burrito it's coming apart very disappointed ?
I love the Carne asada dinner and would highly recommend ordering it the next time you visit El Burrito Loco. I started going to this restaurant as a single mom of 4 children. The owner was patient and even assisted me when my children would act out. I have been a huge fan of this restaurant for years and never took the time to say thank you. My way of saying thank you is highly recomme ding that you visit this restaurant tonight and let them know that Benjamin's mom sent you there.
