Tried ordering there this previous Sunday. Ordered online so my boyfriend could pick it up on his way home. Ordered and paid all online through the restaurant website. My boyfriend gets there and it stated “closed due to short staffing”. I understand the hardships, but the website should’ve never let me order from that location if it wasn’t open. Have been trying to call the home office and that restaurant location with no answer back for a refund for the food we never got. Very poor communication and very poor customer service for such a highly talked about BBQ joint. Will be going in there as a very angry customer for the refund.

Live 2 hours from here and was in town for the waterpark. Was excited to see a Dickeys nearby as the location we had in our city closed a few years back and it was one of our favorite restaurants. Have to say we were highly disappointed with this location. They were out of most of the meats and fries and the food was cold when we got it and not very good. The man taking the orders was very polite but the other man handling sides seemed like he didn't wanna be there and was not very friendly. Way overpriced for what it was.

Our first time trying this place, what a joke. I did not receive everything that I ordered. There was no sauce on anything even tho I specified in my order which types that I wanted. The onion tangles were burned to a crisp. I call back and they refunded me $4.50. big deal. I'm never going back here.

This place has really been going downhill lately. Mangled menu board, sloppy buckets of smoker grease laying around. Fountain machine partially working. No covers on the tea dispenser and water scale in the pots. Messy sauce bottles behind the counter.Food still tasted okay but the condition of the store doesn't make me confident that's going to last.

Food was great, best in the area. Staff was awesome, will definitely go back. I highly recommend this place.

BBQ without BBQ sauce on my delivery. Restaurant will say "fault of delivery" and runner says "I grab bag and go". I side with restaurants fault. When one buys $100+ worth of BBQ, the party expects BBQ sauce, especially given that we chose 'original sauce' in the app.

OMG! This is such a joke!!!!!!! Ordered this meal for (8) people for Mother’s Day. There are only five us but I ordered extra for second helpings and leftovers. After calling and speaking to the manager about my disappointment and LACK of food she was adamant that this was what I ordered, dinner buffet for 8. I don’t know who she’s feeding but this wouldn’t feed 8 children let alone 8 adults. She tried to explain their formula for portion size but this wasn’t explained on the phone because I would’ve ordered more food had she done so. No apologies, no rectification, no NOTHING! This type of service is why restaurants fail! And this cost over $100.00. I would’ve paid double if it would’ve been enough food. Now I’m going to have to order pizza.

Food is always great at this location. Service our last visit (5-1-22) was awful!!My wife and I arrived at 7:10p.m. First thing I noticed when I parked was the neon "Open" sign was turned off.Hours posted on the door show open until 8p.m.Girl behind the counter (on her cell phone), late teens/early 20's age, gives us a disgusted look because we interrupted her "screen time."Not sorry. You're getting paid to work...Insta and Snap can wait!!I ask if they have any brisket left and she says, "You're going to have to take this to go because the dining room closes at 7p.m."That's funny, because there was a gentleman sitting in the dining room eating his food and, as mentioned, this location is open until 8p.m.Girl behind the counter proceeds to act like doing her job is the biggest inconvenience in life and didn't hide the fact that she was annoyed that people actually show up to order food and eat at a restaurant.Normally, we order drinks with our food. Not this time. Gladly drove the 1/4 mile to McDonald's and ordered our drinks there. Not that the young lady cares, but her lousy attitude cost this location $4. I should have canceled my entire order.

Don't order through delivery services in the evening. You will not get any fried items (onion tanglers) as they shut down the fryer early before closing, don't tell the delivery people and you then have to bother applying for a credit. They do this regularly, if you check comments on the delivery apps, the most common complaint is missing onion tanglers
