On my way somewhere so had to stop to try. We read reviews, raving about cheeseburgers & ice cream. Both got double cheeseburgers with "everything " turns out it must no longer include "everything ". No lettuce or tomato? Read that in someone's review but menu does not indicate what it includes, my mistake to expect "everything "?Meat was tasty and good amount. Somehow "everything" is onions, few pickles & american cheese.Fries are delicious and not crazy on the salt. Better than McD but I haven't been there in 20 yrs. Onion rings, huge disappointment considering not crunchy or crispy and costs $3! Total $15 experience to take you back in time. Did not have ice cream or cone saw too many customers getting cones that were already melting at the order window and it is only 85 degrees out?
Love the Granita unusual lemon ice cream with lemon granita...the small is actually pretty filling...good priced doesn't look like they went up as high as the other Darriett's.
Best place to bring your family for a affordable ice cream treat and or hamburger. I've heard the hotdogs are really good too. The 4 of us this afternoon all had exactly what we wanted plus extras and walked away only having to pay $15. You can't beat that in our opinion! My family has been coming here for years and I hope that we're able to bring more generations here.
Not the same. Went for A cooler ended up with a shake. I had to throw it away. I understand it gets busy but have a system someone make food/ice cream only someone take orders only. Also please stop playing in the coolers. This summer you guys are mixing them too long causing the ice cream to melt before it reaches the customer. Love the ice cream but it's no good if i can't eat it
I ordered 2 things .... medium strawberry ice cream cone which was very small and a strawberry cheesecake cooler with no cheesecake in it. If the girl who had waited on me was paying attention to me instead of her co worker maybe she would of gotten my order right.
So happy I get to share my favorite childhood spot with my own kiddo. Always a go to when we're in town!
Great food. Had bbq sandwich. Kids had a hot dog. All was good.Ice. Cream was very good.
Bought a large chile dog. It wasn't that goood. Service was slow. The ice cream was ok.
It's good to go cool off a cone. But wouldn't mind if they had a place like that, open all year long. In Wausau Wisconsin. They have places like that.
So many varieties of ice cream sundaes love this place
