We were at the Rockford Cracker Barrel, I had the Grilled catfish and it is AWESOME!! Our waiter Christopher was super and everyone was happy with the meal. Cracker Barrel needs to start selling their house croutons, they are the best!!

Don’t get me wrong the food was delicious at least the food we got I was there eating with my mother and the waiter seemed to have an attitude and feeling cocky since other customers that WERENT EVEN SERVED BY HIM gave him cash so he was very cocky for a tip looked annoyed especially when we were talking Spanish and she had ordered coffee he poured it higher than her from were she was sitting from she even pointed out to me that he’d spilled coffee on my bacon then I told him If I could substitute eggs for hash browns he said sure and charged us for it and waited 30 minutes for the food and when he did had to wait 10 more for my “hash browns “ and gave me eggs that looked like they spent 1 minute on the stove close to raw and didn’t even give my mother what she chose and we were talking Spanish and our waiter went back inside with the food and made us wait more and when we told him he seem mad and just took the hash browns off the bill and gave us a plate for the eggs since “we already had them” anyway most likely not try again although the pancakes made me feel like I was in paradise so my feelings for the food service and everything are very controversial.

Service from server was not good, but her manager and others helped when we would ASK for a refill. Not sure if our order wasn't put in when we ordered or if the kitchen managed to skip us. What I do know is that we got seated at 641pm and out food didn't arrive until 738pm.I think it may have been a fluke because literally everyone around us got the food in a timely manner. One couple was even able to come in, order, eat, pay and leave before our food arrived. The rainbow trout was cooked perfectly. It was seasoned well, juicy and flaky. Unfortunately, I couldn't say the same about the southern fried chicken. It was way over cooked. Super dark and dry. The hubby (who is a human garbage disposal) could only choke down 1 piece of the 4 PC dinner. Loaded hashbrowns were delicious. The mashed potatoes were runny, and they never brought the gravy even after reminder. The kids loved their meals. I didn't taste them, but they looked good. The manager was very apologetic and took off hubby's meal.I would try again to see if it was just bad luck.

Kayla took great care of us! Our breakfast was tasty and plentiful!! As it was my first experience at a Cracker Barrel I was impressed with the selection within the “store” side of the restaurant! Overall it was a GREAT first impression!!

Cracker Barrel is one of those places to have an old fashioned meal. Not a burger, not a pizza, not fast food, just good food at a great price point. Wish we had one closer. The Rockford Cracker Barrel was fast even though they were packed for Mothers Day. I had the roast beef and my wife had the sugar cured ham. Both would have taken time to make at home. Both hit the spot. Great location and great staff

family style restaurant. good portions and good service.

Awful customer service from the old lady at the gift shop cashier, I asked for help to find something and she was so rude and didn't help me.From the restaurant their pancakes are so far the best I've ever had, si buttery and crispy.Place was dark and dusty, long wait time to get a table but service from the waitress was good.

Inside eating and was awesome as always

Great experience all around, love the country store!
