If you are not from the Rockford area, this is one fast food restaurant you must try. Exclusive to our region, Beef a Roo is best known for its cheddar fries and, of course, all beef burgers! Also, the pork tenderloin sandwich is a favorite with many locals. This place has something for everyone and although beef is on the moniker, they have some tasty vegetarian options as well.
Food was super fresh and delicious. Did not leave my fingers greasy at all. Super clean inside the restaurant, great atmosphere! Definitely worth stopping in!
Absolutely the worst meal I've ever had, on South Alpine. I ordered a pork tenderloin with mayo, lettuce, tomato & onion, a small fry. I got a tenderloin with pickles, lettuce and onions. No mayo, no tomato. Fries were old, NONE of it was even warm.
Will usually stop at a beef-a-roo whenever I'm in town. Always good food, messed up my order last time but I still ate it, been going for years
This trip to Beef-A-Roo was awesome! The staff was so helpful and nice they treated my 2 kids with such great manners! They had such variety in their food and it was just what my kids loved! They had lunch types foods, dinner foods, and most importantly dessert. I thought that this was just such a great first-time trip I'd 100% recommend it.

So disappointed this is supposed to be high quality food and there prices are high and you would expect good food I opened my burger and see this lettuce
New to area. This is I guess a big beef. Not really that big but at $5.49 not bad. Asked for hot peppers (a/k/a Giardiniera) but got red bell peppers ?
I love this place!! They're always consistent and the service is always on point. I have never been there and had anything wrong with my order or been disappointed.
