If I could give this review a 0 star I would. I went here with my mom and sister and we ordered soft drinks. I had a Dr. pepper and I took a couple sips and it tasted awful. I ended up ordering a strawberry lemonade. My sister and I were going to do the.2 for $29 deal, we got the onion rings as the appetizer and they were burnt so bad that all it tasted like was nasty oil. Then we also got the quesadillas and I took a couple bites and not one but 2 pieces of hair I consumed. I spit my food out and left. The service wasn’t even good either. It took a while to order just our drinks. I am not happy at all.
Waitress was kind, but of all spots to sit, I was in direct line of sun and no blinds on window to help. Artichoke dip was watery n tasted like it was put in microwave. Also ordered queso dip and was cold n watery. Ordered honey pepper chicken tender mac n cheese. Food temp was warm n not hot, breadstick was hard on one side, possibly warmed up in microwave as well. Very disappointing, (state st location) has really cut corners n can really tell in quality of food.
Well other than the mediocre food, and our server openly making fun of autism, can't say much. Won't be back to this location anytime soon. Don't recommend at all.
We are so disappointed that they closed our DeKalb Applebee's so we were excited to eat and dine in. Love it and our waitress was excellent.
This place is absolutely terrible they used to be really good restaurant the waitresses were terrible very rude they didn’t care about how long you waited The food with beyond cold The place was a disaster do better Waited about two hours for food that was beyond cold was very disappointing all the waitress wanted to do was talk about going home nonstop gave you very ugly looks and thought they were better than anybody else never once why ever walk back into this restaurant I will go to a different Applebee’s that’s a lot better and a lot cleaner and a lot respectful this Applebee’s used to be really good but now I went downhill
Jennifer is the best server here. If there's ever a mistake on my order she always fixes it. She always sits down at my table and talks with me for a couple minutes. I would recommend asking for her as your server. She gets a 10 out of 10.
Good food, so nothing to complain about. Server was very good and the food is what I expected. Just had a salad, so nothing to write home about. I would eat there again, as the food is consistent.
It has been quite a long time since I ate at an Applebees...and I dont write reviews. But this was absolutely the worst food I have ever gotten for take out. We got burgers...because come on...how do you mess up a burger....all of our food was cold, and soggy. We asked for pink middles, and got raw middles...Mcdonalds would have been better. Last time I will waste my money there.
Waitress was great. Bar tender couldn't make the drunk I asked for and the bathroom was a total disaster. Paper all over and water standing in the floor.
Food was decent but our waiter was not very observant. We had other waitresses stopping by to refill drinks and bring us our food as our waiter stared at us while standing at the bar. When the food finally got to us it was Luke warm almost cold and even though it was tasty it wasn't how we excepted it. I might try it again down the road but I wouldn't suggest this being your top spot to eat at for the moment.
