Amazing staffs cutting the meat and making the sides!!! The food was amazing. Got quarter of beef brisket, pulled pork, turkey, pork belly, and spicy sausage link. For sides I got the elote, Mac and cheese, and green beans made to order. 3 sauces, spicy bbq(great!), bourbon peach sweet bbq(my favorite!), and Texas gold mustard(really grew on me). The meats were absolute perfection. Next time I will get brisket, pulled pork, pork belly, and turkey sandwich. Def green beans and elote! Great bbq spot downtown plainfield. Afterwards I went to hazel maries ice cream a block away. Perfect meal ending with awesome ice cream.
Good BBQ food. We ordered at the counter. Tonight was 1/2 priced wine. I had the brisket chilli. He had a brisket and loaded tater tots.
Second time at StationOne and was not disappointed. The shredded chicken sammich was the best I have ever had. The beef brisket was so tender & flavorful. The sides are a must try. The Brussel sprouts w. Pork belly, the tatertot casserole and the pinto beans were as good as the BBQ. Friendly staff & patrons. During the week you are almost guaranteed that they will not be oit of anything you desire. Three thumbs up.
Superb flavor and smoke in the pork, brisket and wings. Accompanying sauces excellent. Many times the side dishes are an afterthought but not here. Broccoli salad, elote corn, tot casserole and corn bread had lots of love and unique flavors. Have eaten alot of BBQ, and Station 1 brought their "A" game tonite. It even pleased a 2 year old and a baby with 4 teeth.
I am a true to heart BBQ enthusiast. I have tried several spots near my area only to be disappointed. Trust me, Station One Smokehouse is the place for me. Here are my observations: The parking lot was clean, the restaurant was clean and organized. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The restroom was clean and stocked. And last but certainly not least, the food is amazing. I had brisket, ribs, and smoked sausage. It was so tender, delicious, and so flavorful! Was in the area, and was trying something I haven't had before. I'm so glad I wound up here. As soon as you get out of your car you're greeted with the aroma of the smokers, and it's glorious. Once in the place you're looking at all the offerings on the menu trying to decide on what to choose. I decided on the sliced brisket, hot link, jalapeño cheddar link, medium Mac and cheese, medium pinto beans with pork belly, medium chili with brisket, cheese and onions. Me thinking the portion sizes would be small I ordered all that, and once my tray started coming together, I knew I ordered way too much food. The pinto beans to me were the best side tonight, I didn't even make it to the brisket, but the Mac and cheese was creamy, and the chili hearty. I ate both links, and the spicy sauce was amazing. Wasn't a fan of the Texas sauce, but if you're into mustard hinted barbecue sauce, then you'll enjoy it. Definitely will return.
I tried ordering online first but it wasn't accepting online orders. So I had to go to The smokehouse and get in line. There was a long line but the food was fantastic. I would recommend checking out their ribs they sell them by the half pound. The brisket and smoked sausage sandwich is or prepared well seasoned not spicy or anything. They're cornbread is amazing. I would definitely recommend coming here and checking out and getting in line to enjoy their food.
I loved all the options of meats and sides. Everything tasted pretty delicious too! The inside of the restaurant is cute & designed nicely. There is a section for a bar along with a section to pick out your food. There are tons of indoor seating, and knowledgeable & cool staff. I wish their menu had a combo where you pick 2 meats and 2 sides for X amount of money, but it's: pick anything you want; which turned out to be a $50 meal for just the 2 of us.. pretty pricey, so it will be more of an occasional restaurant for me, but boy am I excited for the next time I go!
