Ordered a burrito, half of it wasn’t even wrapped properly and the bottom half slid across the entire prep station. While paying for the food, the food prep gave her friend at the high school a discount and also free guacamole. After picking up the food, had a hard time finding a clean table and had to ask for utensils since there wasn’t any at the drink station. There was meat and rice on most of the seats and tables. I didn’t think I can find such a poorly maintained and operated chipotle, but here it is.Ended up finding a half clean table, and I wiped it down with some napkins. At this point I was already slightly upset and as I proceeded to pick up my burrito, half of it fell apart. Now as I’m writing this review, my stomach is feeling upset and I have diarrhea.Seems like it’s run by high school kids that don’t care. If I can give it 0 stars, I would. Please stay away for your own health and go to one of the other chipotles.
What happened to this place??? I went there tonight and they made my burrito bowls so small (1/2 the size it normally is), the chips were extremely oversalted (we are scraping off the chunks of salt), and the staff is cursing loudly in front where young kids are dining.
Plainfield location was experiencing technical issues with cash register. Forced everyone coming thru the door to order from their app. Very confusing to folks who were in a lunch hour rush.
I ordered 3 different bowls and not one of them was correct. Every one was either missing a requested topping or had a topping that wasn't requested.
Changing my rating. 2 years ago this was a great place for lunch. Now it is not so good. They have gotten skimpy on portions.
Mask mandates are being lifted on Monday but that doesn’t mean 3/4 of your teenage workers don’t have to wear masks while handling food and interacting with customers on a busy Saturday afternoon. We asked them to wear their mask properly above their mouth and nose while handling our food but they took their masks off right after. While there were customers following Chipotles mask guidelines, a lot of customers coming in weren’t wearing masks and the staff didn’t do anything to ask them to wear a mask.
I will never visit this chipotle again. I placed an order online. Got there 10 minutes after pickup time and my order wasn't complete. I asked about it and they said no tortillas for my burrito, no big deal. So I ask if they could just make it into a bowl. Which they do. I get home. My order is completely wrong. And to top it all off, the food was disgusting. Filled with undercooked rice, pieces of something hard, and hair. This place is unsanitary and filled with young workers that invite their friends to sit in there and hang out. Please just drive to another location and save yourself the aggravation.
Drive to another location. Manager always have bad attitudes when the lines get busy. They have consistently opened early or closed late. When you do luck out and get inside it’s pretty high odds that the food will be poorly made.
I’d give no stars if that was a choice. Food was cold, hardly anything in the bowl. Chips were stale. Rice was just plain, no cilantro in it or lime taste to it at all. Just disgusting.
We went for dinner I can honestly say I will be driving further to go to a different Chipotle for now on this location is seriously lacking. A line of people with one kid leaning against the counter watching as everyone else tried to fulfill orders. 2 sodas were out, all of the fresh lemonade and teas were empty, no napkins at all in the holders when I asked I was given 3 from behind the counter. The worst part was the peppers and onions were not even cooked, they crunched they were raw. The raw vegetables would be fine if that’s what they were supposed to be but they should be cooked. Every time we go here they are out of something. I get Covid has impacted everything but this location is seriously lacking We can go to Chipotle at other locations that are far better than this location. Oswego, Joliet, Naperville anywhere but here.
