It's a pizza buffet, so I love this place. I love the pizza, I love the desserts, I love the food.But, the service could use work. I've come here a few times, and it's often dirty. The employees aren't usually in a rush to clean the floors, clear empty plates, or even seat people sometimes. It's a hit or miss, depending on the day.
This restaurant was really close to our hotel and decided to give it a try....pizza on Friday night? YES!As we enter we discover it's buffet but not only pizza and salad, it has fried chicken, French fries, and lots of yummy desserts! At $11.95/ person it's well worth it!! The topping on this yummy pizza cake is that it's a Christian company
Chicken is really good, pizza not bad. Be sure to place order for your favorite pie. We've been to 2 Ranches in WI and 3 in IL. All good except this one. Extremely dirty plates, you could feel a gritty dirt on them. We wiped them with napkins. Filthy floors, nasty restrooms, decorations and woodwork have a heavy dust. Carpet was gastly. All for 13.95. Drive to Morton store, you'll be glad you did.
Only giving one star because the food was great, fresh, hot and always stocked...however, the front desk employees were rude, spaced out and clueless. Tried to charge us for an 8 month old baby, which was eventually corrected. Floor was filthy...alot of tables with dirty dishes just sitting there for awhile once people left. And the worst part was when I went to use the baby changing table in the bathroom, there was dried FECES on it...absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. Left right after that, so I could change my son. Unfortunately we won't be going back here for the good food.
Don't bother wasting your money. This location is horrible. I was told that the store would not honor their rewards program without the card (previously used phone#). Then was told by the Manager after calling about this that my tone of voice was wrong. Called Headquarters, was told you can use app for rewards but wasn't offered this option at visit. Rude is all I can say. You have lost a customer. Last take out order chicken pieces were literally cut in half. Quality was thrown out the window with customer service. Manager needs to learn some customer service skills. NEVER ever coming back.
Over all, the food is fresh here and pretty good with the exception of the chicken being so greasy..The staff was friendly .. the place is a madhouse tho, on a Saturday at least. I understand being a busy place, honestly I do, but the napkin holders sat with built up dust, food and grime which turned most of us off of our meal. The soda machine was leaking and created a large puddle on the hardwood floor before anyone put a caution sign up, after I said something about it. Customers walked back and fourth past it, I was so nervous someone was going to slip and fall. $16/buffet.
Where do I start. First time ever in a pizza ranch. Took family for my son's birthday. Honestly never seen a more dirty restaurant. I was actually shocked. Carpet was stinking and even the napkin holder on table was covered in dust. Drink area was also stinking and the cups we were given for the drinks where dirty to. I had one bit of chicken and kids had one slice of pizza. My wife and mother in-law choose not eat. We decided to cut or losses and leave. Only positive thing I can say is the food area was clean and the chicken and pizza that we did have were decent enough. Hate leaving a review like this but it was so dirty I have no other option.
Took our family tonight to the Pizza Ranch Peroia and honestly it's the dirtiest place I've ever been in. The carpet is disgusting, the dirt of the glasses and just the place in general. The food was OK but how anyone sits in the dirty restaurant is beyond me. We cut our losses after a slice of pizza and left. It's safe to say I would not recommend it.
We were disappointed with this Pizza Ranch. The floors were very dirty with all kinds of things so it wasn't pleasant sitting there eating while looking around at the debris it was everywhere including around the buffet area. There were dirty plates sitting around for too long.All of the food was way over cooked you could tell just by looking at it because it was all too browned and dry looking. All of the pizzas were overcooked the crust was brown and hard looking. I guess the men's restroom was disgusting according to a family member he said the mirror was all smudged up too.They must not have enough employees or managers or both.If they make positive changes we will go back but not until then.
Was very disappointed in the way the management was treating her staff! I find it very wrong to assume a child should work over their shift when their ride isn't there yet! And to be rude infront of customer is inappropriate! Also dirty dishes and limited food choices. But the rest of the staff and experience was great!
