Here visiting for work from out of town. Got the gooey burger, which was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the bartender Dakota, gets 5 stars herself. Will definitely be back
I was not sure what to expect - when you hear of Greek Food, it can be all over the good food scale. We were so excited when or food came. We ordered the flaming cheese! WOW- so delicious. The food is most generous portions. We had the falafel with greek dressing, a gyro sandwich which was so amazing, fresh and the wamr pita bread was delicious. I ordered also a greek salad which was very generous and fresh and healthy. And the Greek Fries and onion rings were so good! Service was great! I will definitely go back again and this is one not to be missed!!!!
Should be 4.5 stars. A patty melt “Greek style” gyro meat and feta. Awesome, not kidding. Taste, texture, aroma perfect balance. Bacon and Brussel sprouts great.Surprising backstory… American meets Greek menu item suggested by Italian. Hilarious
For starters, the water is awful. I had the gyro, which was pretty good. The meat itself is sorta bland but it's crispy. The pitas are slightly tough and chewy. The onion rings were also fairly bland but super crunchy. Fries were excellent, they had good seasoning. I didn't try it, but the burgers are apparently good. For the same price, you can get a real gyro with fresh made pita bread with 2x meat at chef moussa.
This place was highly recommended for the food they serve and the atmosphere. I unfortunately must have been there on a bad day (Saturday evening). They weren't very busy at all, and when I walked in a waitress told me to sit wherever I like and she'd be there to take a drink order from me. 20 minutes later I ended up walking out because no one took my drink order, brought a menu, or even spoke to me after that. I had high hopes for this place it looks like a good hangout if they had any kind service. Bad service would have been better than no service.
Not sure about the bad reviews - we only had great service and great food! No hair in the food - though if we did we'd pick it out and continue focusing on all the good around us...My stepmom took us here in June, 2022, and we loved it so much we brought the whole family - all 22 of us - back 3 days later!. The waitress was really accommodating to our desire to eat outside, and she was really attentive and great. One of our party took the wrong item when it was delivered, and when that was discovered, the waitstaff rushed out another order just so quickly. We started off with the Mediterranean Mule cocktail, and we all agreed they were the best we'd had. Some of us were vegetarians, and we loved the options to order one kebab with veggies and one with meat. The hummus was really tasty and the shrimp kebabs were cooked so well, with a fabulous marinade and just the right amount of char. The chef really knows what s/he is doing! I will definitely come back here when I travel to Peoria. Remember - focus on the good - your world is a pretty fabulous place if you look for it. :)
Made it crystal clear some of my food was bad, tough and old not even able to eat it! which I left on the plate so she could see it. Could not have cared any less!! Didn't bother to speak with anyone and did not even offer to remove it. I eat here sometimes and it was only 4 BUCKS!! I Mean really why not just remove it?? Won't be going back after that treatment. Seriously 4 dollars?! I was still nice enough to even Tip more than that. Just absolutely ? ridiculous. Not coming back.
Had a great time last night. The food was amazing and our waitress was friendly.
Great place. Service is great, the food is better. The hummus is downright amazing. Only hummus I have had that really doesn't need a splash of olive oil on it. The Brussels and bacon is a real treat as well.
I had the gyro with French fries and everything was really really good. They make their own homemade ranch that was phenomenal!!
