The food is great if I could get it right. I do not know WHY I keep trying to call in my order or order through DoorDash and expect my order to be correct. Each and every time something is wrong. Always seems to be mine because my steak tacos with CILANTRO & ONION seem to NEVER have cilantro and onion on them. Never. Not to mention never any extra lime when I ask for that too. This is a simple traditional “street” taco. Yet I always get tacos with nothing but steak. Seems simple and not a big deal. However this being the 5th time and the soul reason to get street tacos and it not to have the TWO main ingredients is pretty frustrating. Now I believe they are closed so I’m stuck with another missed attempt at ordering tacos from here.
Great place but the great food isn't always great. Get the consistency down, and this place is a solid 4.5* Mexican restaurant
This was the worst Mexican food I have ever had. I tried Jimador twice. I don't judge a restaurant by my first experience because that may have just been a bad day. So, being the optimist that I am, I tried it again and it was even worse the second time around. Everything was a soggy disaster. The dishes I ordered were basically unrecognizable and looked gross. The flavors were bland. I will never order from this restaurant again. I wish I had taken pictures to share the horror.
Started things off with a large horchata and they did not disappoint! It came in a large beer mug. Their Tacos al Pastor didn't look like much on the plate, but they tasted fantastic. My wife's Quesadilla Santa Fe was fat with steak and cheese. Finally, this may be a small thing to most, but they probably have the best tomatillo in Peoria. I'll definitely be returning with my sons.
Food had great eye appeal, customer service was friendly, definitely a great price for what you get

The birria tacos are ? ???The only thing I don’t like is picking up for DoorDash here the female waiters get an attitude and the guys in the back are more helpful …… so anytime I come in I walk right past them.
Delicious food! Easy to eat gluten free. Vegetarian fajitas highly recommended. I tried the fish fajitas today. Excellent!
