There's a reason why this steakhouse has been in business since the '60s. Quality, decor, menu offerings and service. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, everything was great. Definitely the best meal I've had in Peoria. If you like bourbon, grab a pour of Buffalo Trace and during the meal, I suggest a glass of Decoy pinot noir. Perfect way to pair with an excellent filet and baked potato. Finish with the turtle cheesecake. Fantastic and highly recommend!
I grew up on the best steaks Central Illinois has to offer. That's why my husband and I always go to Jim's Steakhouse in downtown Peoria. We've been going there for years and they are CONSISTENTLY great! They don't skimp on quality ingredients like some restaurants do. Try it and you'll be comparing every steak you eat to Jims!!!
Went to Jim’s tonight for my wife and I anniversary, it was by far amazing. We got there a little early before our reservation that was no problem at all we were seated immediately. The hostess was very friendly and upbeat with a beautiful smile. I had called prior to see if they could set up special as a surprise for our anniversary night, they assured me they could do something special with chocolate covered strawberries at no extra charge, they truly made our evening one we will forever remember. The food was amazing the service was great and live piano was a nice touch too. Great atmosphere, nice ambiance. Will definitely return. Nice little spot for downtown Peoria. Only regret I have is I didn’t try it sooner.
Probably the classiest place in Peoria. Decor was beautiful, the piano player was very skilled, and I enjoyed the piano take on popular songs, but the delicious food and service were incredible.Very romantic atmosphere with candles and subdued lighting. Would definitely recommend
We were in town for a concert and wanted to have a nice dinner. This place is worth the price. Even though we were dressed for the concert it did not make a bit of difference. Service was excellent and the food was amazing. I highly recommend if you have a chance try Jim's Steak House
Great tasting steaks at Jim's Steakhouse. Their "Prime Rib Nights" are popular. Also, their "Friday Night Date Night-Dinner for Two" is very popular. Friendly & knowledgeable staff work here, and some have been employees for many years. Fine dining with a wonderful atmosphere & nice entertainment. We enjoyed our food & drinks, the piano bar, and the Harpist: Sally Hoerr. They also, have a second bar that you can sit and eat at. It's a great place for special occasions and it's always decorated beautifully for the holidays at Thanksgiving and Christmas! Old style steakhouse...good service, good food.Had Brittany salad, mushrooms, green beans mashed cauliflower superb! Rolls are homemade wheat, so good!Oh yes, best tender filet. Husband had the filet w Bleu cheese, he loved it.
Awesome experience, not just great food.The coat check man was super friendly and encouraged our 7-year-old son to play a little on their baby grand?!The young lady beautifully playing the harp was super nice and talented.The food and drinks rock!Then, at the end of the night, the piano player even asked if our son would sit and play some piano.One of most enjoyable dinners we've had in quite some time.

LOVE JIM's Steakhouse staff and food! The service is always on point and the food is cooked perfectly! I usually have a ribeye charred medium rare with a baked potato blue cheese salad and dessert because life is too short to skip it <3 We celebrate with family at Jim's and have also had a few business parties too!
