We ordered pepperoni pizza for a group of 6 boys. The pizza was very greasy, so greasy the cheese and pepperoni ran off when they tried to pick it up. The server took a long time to take our order then wrote down the wrong topping. When the server brought the pizza she said I ordered wrong. I in fact ordered what I wanted which was not what they brought. She asked if I wanted it or wanted her to throw it away. The topping was a topping I don't eat. When I went to pay, she threw the pizza away all annoyed. The supreme pizza was good and not greasy.

Visiting my favorite past time place. I moved away years ago. I was hoping it was still open. Worth stopping in and having a drink and food. Everything on the menu is great and great portion sizes!
I came here with great expectations based on the reviews and the pictures. However my experience was it was a big disappointment and it all comes down to the service. Since the moment I arrived I felt that the service was not very welcoming but maybe it was just me, not everyone has to be nice I get that. However during my dinner I was asked if I was going to be there for a while, if I needed a cup to take my beer to go and a couple of more questions that really made me feel like I wasn't welcomed. Worth mentioning that there were around 10 people in the place including me. So no, they didn't need the table. And after seeing how the waitress/bartender/owner treated other people I realized it wasn't me.Also, there was a lady who was yelling to another lady from one extreme to the other and the bartender didn't ask her to calm down or anything, it really was weird to see how she kinda took sides here. Again, the service was just awful.Just to be fair, I have to recognize the food was good, I had the Philly Cheese Steak and a slice of pizza.

I'm a touring musician, love eating pizza across America. Hoops was one of the highlights of our 2019 tour, and my band will not shut up about going back to Hoops when we come back to Peoria in 2022.
