Pulled pork nachos with sweet chili barbecue sauce truly heavenly. The food was amazing and the portion sites were perfect. Definitely will not leave hungry and unsatisfied.
Food is always good here. Last visit they made a mistake on the order, the manager was quick to fix the issue and sent us home with some extra food for there mistake. Will definitely be back!

Very tasty BBQ with very basic main dishes and small sides. For new customers, it's not obvious what to do or where to get things. For example, I had to ask where to get the beer that I ordered and where to get the butter for my cornbread. The meat has excellent flavor, though.
Fire a$$ BBQ ? (with a drive-thru!)I had their sliced brisket, one of my favorites to get it any barbecue place, and this was pull apart with your fingers tasty good. Every bite was infused with the flavor of their smoker, which was good enough by itself!Definitely worth a shot if you're a barbecue fan.
This is a great bbq spot. Go get you some if you love flavor and friendly staff! Worth the trip, they've got a good menu and a clean restaurant.
Hickory River smokehouse is a gem in Peoria. They fry their fries fresh upon order along with other fried food that you order. Their meat is exquisite. The chicken wings are by far the best chicken wings. And their customer service is superb. Plus their to go cups are actual cups you can keep and use at home. They're not just disposable throwaway cups. I will always go back to Hickory River for quality delicious food and fantastic customer service. Out of state family begs us to go to Hickory River anytime they are in town.
Was just hoping for better quality food. Service was great and food came out fast but didnt taste that great. We have been trying food places around the area and this was the worst one so far. My girlfriends dad had a bone in his pulled pork too.
