This restaurant needs some serious improving. Went there May 5 yes it was Cinco de Mayo but we went very early to avoid the crowd. The three dollar margaritas turned out to be four dollars. The three dollar menu they advertised apparently did not exist. The salsas were different from batch to batch. The final food was marginal at best. Most of it came out lukewarm. Much of it seem like it had been made earlier and reheated. Not to mention this is one of the more expensive restaurants serving Mexican food in the area.

I had an absolutely HORRIBLE experience there. I decided to sit at the bar & eat their new brunch menu… my bartender was Roy…. Where do I begin…. I will add it was not busy. And there were 2 of them there. I went to order a drink and when I pointed out that their drink “Cuba libre” wasn’t a Mexican version of anything…. He responded with “Cuban, Mexican…. I didn’t write them.” (Now, if you are Hispanic, you are proud of your culture… cubans don’t want to be called Mexican, Mexicans don’t want to be called Spaniards…. It’s just a thing…. ) It wasn’t a fight just a simple statement. I got over it, and ordered. It took OVER an hour to get my food. But I work in the service industry, so I really do understand sometimes with a new menu…. Stuff happens. But he came out after 35 minutes, without me asking….. said “sorry it’s taking so long. There is there is clearly a ‘bilingual’ issue with those guys in the back….” That upset me…. That is what bothered me MORE than my food taking forever…. More than the being misdescribed…. HOW DARE YOU…. I had nothing to say other than “for future reference, so in addition to you sounding ignorant you don’t sound uneducated…. It’s a language barrier, not a bilingual issue…. Bilingual means you speak 2 languages.” I was offended and did leave him a note. I hope that working in a Mexican restaurant, he can have a little more class towards Hispanics.

It was a great place to eat. Will come back.

The food was dry and bland and tasted about as authentic at Chili's. The staff was extremely innatentive. We spent $150 for 4 people (2 adults 2 children) and no one was impressed with their meal; most of it went uneaten. It was a waste of time, money and food. We went through drive thru our way home to get the kids something that they would eat. Won't go back.

Found this by chance, not from here and noticed they had 1 dollar off Michealadas. Best flavor, not too spicy - which is how I like it and if ur a Michealada wanna be - pacifico is the way to go! Before u ask yes thay do have taihin! I had the enchiladas and they were good! Taking home homemade real pork tamales! I hear the margaritas are excellent! I'll have to try those next time.

The absolute worst tasting Mexican restaurant in Peoria didn't eat the food at all and wasn't even offered any discount just asked why we didn't want to take it home. A quality atmosphere. I guess you're paying for the location. Just go on war memorial or Grand prairie.

One of the best tasting Mexican food spots in the state. Very friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back here soon.

One of if not the best Mexican restaurant I've ever eaten at. The food was delicious -- first for me that I cleaned my plate, it was that good. Fresh ingredients, flavorful seasoning, attractive plating. The atmosphere was great and the service excellent, a great experience. If you are looking for good Mexican food or just a great dining experience, you cannot go wrong with Hacienda El Mirador!

My Husband and I ate here for the first time today, and we were not disappointed. The food was outstanding! We ordered the Enchiladas, our waiter was nice and very courteous, and attentive to our needs. Will definitely return.

Tyler and the team were professional, helpful and made us feel welcomed -- can't do better than that.Very good food, very good atmosphere, 5 star all the way.Give them a try.
